2StepSE @ Cedar Creek Lake is a comfortable 2 level lake house in the Payne Springs area close to all the lake area has to offer.
Enter the home through a large covered front porch, which is comfortably furnished, and features a stone wood burning outdoor fireplace.
The main level has a fully equipped kitchen, plus open concept living and dining areas. The living area boasts 3 large picture windows framing the gorgeous views of the lake. There is also a large screen smart TV above the second wood burning fireplace. WIFI and cable service and Blu-ray DVD provided. Step through sliding glass doors off the dining area onto a deck with outdoor dining and gas grill with magnificent views of the lake.
On the main level there is a BR with a King bed, and a large picture window framing the lake. A second BR on this level has two bunk beds. Bathroom on this level has double sinks, walk in shower and a Jacuzzi tub.
The lower level has a large living area with sunroom and sliding doors to large wooden deck overlooking the lake. Inside there is a kitchenette and laundry area. One of the two downstairs BRs has a Queen Sleep Number bed. The other bedroom is furnished with a King bed, and has direct access to the shared bathroom with walk-in shower. The lower level common area has a large screen TV and a queen sleeper sofa.
8' Pool Table, Ice Machine 30 pound hopper 100 pound daily production.
Making your way lake side you will find an elevated party deck, waterside patio with fire pit and a fishing pier where you can tie up your boat or jet ski. Public ramps and boat rentals are available close by.

The location and floor plan of the home was perfect. The house was spacious with updated modern amenities. The scenery looking out the massive windows toward the lake was very beautiful. The host Gary was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this Lakehouse to others. Great place for kids and families!!!

Great Family R&R

Wonderful home and location on the lake. Great sunset view. Plenty of space. Plenty of kitchen space and amenities for cooking and grilling. Perfect for vacationing with our dogs.

Lovable Lake Spot

This is a fantastic lake house. We did a family trip here during spring break and had the best time. The house is great. Big kitchen with everything you need. Spacious upstairs with gorgeous lake views and tons of seating. The bedrooms are private with nice, clean, beds. The bathrooms are remodeled and beautiful. The downstairs is fun with a pool table, ping pong, a bar, and more seating. The downstairs bedrooms were cozy and clean. The front porch is spacious with a fire place and tons of seating. The back yard has great lake access with even more tables and seating!! We caught over half a dozen fish off the dock and had the best time! There was kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat! The kids had a blast and the dogs loved it! The host made sure we were well taken care of! Thanks Gary! Highly recommend.

Perfect for our Family Holiday getaway

The house was just breath taking when you walk in. The views of the lake were amazing. Even though it rained we were perfectly satisfied! We had a fire in the outside fire place on the covered front porch. It was very peaceful. The host Gary made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed and or wanted! The house was fully stocked with everything! We will definitely be going back next year!

Great stay

A great vacation spot

Our group of ten people (three under ten) had a family reunion at Gary's place, and it was amazing. Everyone in our group talked about what a wonderful time we had, and how much we enjoyed staying at this specific place. There are too many good points to list, but if you have a big group there is plenty of space to gather and eat together, and the bedrooms were all comfortable and suited a variety of families/sizes. The view of the lake never got old. We brought some groceries with us and had everything we needed to cook for 10, so never had to leave the property at all, if we wanted. We went canoeing, spent time on the lookout deck above the lake, played in the backyard, grilled out and made s'mores in the firepit, and at night after the kids went to bed played some of the games that were stocked in the place. Although there were some repairs to the seawall that were on-going during our stay, we were still able to access the water easily. Overall, it was a fabulous vacation rental and we had a great time.

Family Reunion

We had such a lovely stay here during our family reunion. The house has such a cozy vibe and allowed for all of our guests to have their own comfortable space with many great nooks throughout the property to hang out in. The host was very easy to work with and even checked in during the trip to see if we needed anything. We especially enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table!

Our family loved staying at this beautiful home. Everyone was reluctant to leave! The home is beautifully decorated and filled with thoughtful details placed by the owner to insure you have a nice stay. Perfect place for a family lake getaway

This home had everything our family needed for a fun getaway weekend! The open kitchen & living area was so comfortable for our whole family and friends. The view was amazing from all angles and there were so many different areas of the house to hang out…whether it was playing games at the big dining table, lounging on the comfy couch, sipping coffee in the corner sitting area watching the sunrise or listening to the much needed rain storm on the front porch. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Lakefront House!

The house was absolutely fantastic. Plenty of space for my family of 7 and plenty to do. We paddleboarded and fished from the property as well as used the dock to tie down the boat. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen and grill made it so we could cook any meal we wanted. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great house for family

We loved this house. We had 5 teenagers/college kids plus parents and grandparents. Plenty of room for everyone to feel like they can spread out and hang out. Things we loved: 1) the metal steps going into the lake. This was an awesome feature. It made it easy for us “older folks” to enjoy the lake also. 2) the pool/ping pong table. The kids LOVED this! It was nice during the hot part of the day and also in the evenings. 3) the kitchen. It was fully stocked. We cooked every meal at the house and everything I needed was available. 4) the living room couch and seating. Some places have couches that just aren’t big enough for a crew. All 9 of us had comfortable places to sit in the living room so we could watch a show together or hang out and play games. 5) the beds were all very comfortable 6) the outdoor space. Plenty of places to eat and hang out outdoors. When it is a little cooler the fireplace on the front porch and fire pit by the lake would be wonderful. 7) large dining table big enough for all of us to eat together 8) fishing rods available with hook on them. We used a couple of these. We brought our own nightcrawlers. The woman worked grear to catch small catfish. We also caught one sandbass. 9) canoe. Several of the group took out the canoe at different times. It was nice to have. Locally we recommend Little Caesars for pizza and a must visit is Lou Lous snow cones. There is also a Walmart super close. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great lake house - You won't be disappointed

The five star reviews for this property are 100% accurate. The house and all the amenities were amazing. Everything you need for the kitchen was there. The kids loved the paddle boat and the kayaks. The house was very clean and had everything and more for a lakeside get away. The views were spectacular from the living room and all the decks. Gary was a great owner to work with. He communicated early and often. Even the neighbors were extremely friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

Absolutely Amazing

We stay at VRBO properties four or five times a year. By default, we are connoisseurs of the proverbial "VRBO Stay". This property was immaculate and provided a breathtaking view of the lake. The amenities were outstanding. Absolutely everything, and I mean everything we could have wanted or needed was provided. i.e. gourmet kitchen with every appliance and utensil you could possibly need. A pool table, canoes, fishing poles, etc. I could go on and on. The hospitality and communications from the owner was outstanding. In summary, this was one of the best properties we have ever encountered in our travels. I cannot recommend enough.

ABSOLUTELY AS ADVERTISED

Had a perfect Spring Break stay at this property - house is cozy, equipped with everything you need and very comfortable beds - always a true tell of the quality the owner puts into making the property a "must come back"! Gary was an awesome host - even helped us with a dead battery on our vehicle the day we checked out. The ping pong/pool table were a perfect way to help us re-connect with our teens and we had a blast playing together! We didn't have time to thoroughly enjoy the front porch, the upper deck, and other lounging areas the property provides - which are many, but we can attest every part we leveraged was great! Every single one of us had our own TV too - added plus for this family! Appliances were like new and very clean. Thanks Gary - definitely expect to be back and look forward to seeing you again!

Labor Day weekend

Labor Day weekend was amazing.This house had everything we needed, plus more for myself, husband and grown children. My OCD daughter-in-law could even appreciate the cleanliness of this beautiful property with beautiful grounds and mature trees to enjoy being outdoors..We had everything we needed to make family meals and all the extras and had plenty of room to spread out. The AC even went out and Gary was on top of it before we even knew that anything was going on. ( even while being out of the country). This place will definitely be our new go to when visiting Cedar Creek Lake.

Perfect Summer Getaway

Great getaway for our family. Kids and grands age range from 3 years to 25. There was something to do for everyone: games, movies, pool table. Kitchen was well stocked with everything one could need. Gary was a wonderful host that was on top of any concerns.

Fun Family Time

As in many previous reviews we thought that the property owner Gary was really excellent and very accommodating to ensure we had a leisurely vacation. He is the best I have ever worked with on Vrbo or the other networks. The home was comfortable and exactly as pictured. The beds were fantastic … our two small children had a great time playing in the bunk bedroom while we adults enjoyed the comfort of the king size beds and luxurious linens. We loved the water toys and access to the boat dock and patio. The s’mores cooked over the open fire capped off our evenings. All in all it was another beautiful vacation on Cedar Creek Lake. Peaceful and fun!

First, Gary was an awesome host. The house was immaculate. It had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught everything from crappie to bass. The beautiful picture windows allowed for some really nice bird watching. In the evening, we sat outside and had fun around the large fire pit. The bottom floor had an incredible second living area with a pool table. Our family had a blast playing pool. Everyone agreed that this was one of the best VRBO's at Cedar Creek (and we've stayed at a lot)! Truly a wonderful weekend. Thanks, Gary!
