“Väldigt stort rum som var ok städat. Standarden var retro. Otroligt lyhört. Kändes som att sova i ett tält på motorvägen. (Vi hade ändå bett om tyst rum.) Frukosten stängde 30 minuter tidigare än vad personalen och deras egen skriftliga information uppgav. Det innebar att vi fick lite rester av en mycket sur personal. Blev lovade 10 dollar som kompensation, vilket vi givetvis inte fick. Kan inte rekommendera hotellet på något sätt. ”

“Paid cash for the room and authorized the deposit to be charged to a debit card. The deposit was never taken out and held, charged for the room a second time. Two identical amounts, never could speak with anyone who could confirm the error. No help at all.”

“This hotel is amazing! Convenient to the University of Iowa and Downtown Iowa City. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfasts are unbelievable!!! Made to order - amazing! Do not hesitate to stay here! You will love it. ”

“The room smelled and felt very cold and not welcoming at all. The bathroom almost felt like a jail cell. The tub faucet always dripped and the shower water was cold/maybe a dash of warm. The floors were dusty, the tv remote didn’t work and the plug in’s for the lamps didn’t work. We stayed there as it was close to Iowa City hospital and my husbands mom is in the icu. We will find a different hotel next time.”

“I thought I had booked a room with 2 queen beds but when we checked in only the handicap room was available with two double beds. It wasn't a problem but I felt bad taking up them handicap room in case someone who really needed it showed up and needed a room. The check in lady said it was the only room available. It was really nice that the hotel is connected to the restaurant so you don't have to go outside. The computer was not working when we checked in and there was 4 people there waiting...

“We were greeted by a large private security guard who stared us down and blocked our entrance to the front desk to check in! Not the experience we were expecting. It felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. I felt like if I would have said anything the guard would have stopped me and made me leave. Apparently, this is the new protocol for Hilton hotels in Iowa City.. You have to get by a large serious guard just to check in. The front desk clerk didn't make it any better.
