Avskilt, off-grid, Dog-Friendly Stuga på Pristine Lake

Denna mysiga, rustika stuga har 250 meter privat strand vid orörda Six Mile Lake, cirka 7 miles från havet. Perfekt för ett lugnt tillflyktsort bort från människor, trafik, förorening och stressen i det moderna digitala livet. Avskild plats med inga synliga grannar, 10 minuter från staden Machias. Njut av att titta på lommar, paddling i kanot, fiske och utmärkt, ogräsfri simning.

Off-grid, säsongshytt (maj - november). Inga inomhusvatten, rinnande vatten eller el. Rengör vatten för duscha och diskmedel från sjön och regnfat (gster ska ta med dricksvatten.) Välutrustat kök.

På grund av sin enkla och rustika egenskaper är hytten mest tilltalande för vandrare, campare och människor som älskar freden och ensamheten i naturen.

Medel juni till mitten av september (vår högsäsong), uthyrd i veckan, med en övergångsdag på lördag. Lågsäsong, datum är flexibla med ett minimum på två nätter.

Hundar av vilken storlek eller typ som helst är välkomna vid stugan och har gott om plats för att sträcka sig utanför koppel. Hundar som gillar att simma älskar verkligen den här egenskapen.

This is a wonderful place to say whether in Summer or Winter. The accommodations are very comfortable and quiet. As we stayed in Winter the lake was frozen over and we felt like the only people in the world.

Anne was a lovely host and very communicative. The Cabin was clean and everything was very comfortable. Loved being able to have our Sr. dog with us and the morning sunrise/evening sunsets could not be beat!

We loved the cabin, very clean and cozy, wood burning stove was great, it's location the fire pit and the canoe, the neighborhood was great for walking. Peaceful Escape

Not only is the cabin gorgeous but the location and the property could not be better for a quiet escape in the woods. The pups loved swimming in the lake. The star viewing is also unmatched. The whole experience is perfect.

This house lives up to its billing and reviews.  The isolation- even from neighbors- was wonderful, and the cabin quite comfortable.  Everything was nice and new.  We were impressed with the size of the kitchen, and were able to cook some elaborate meals.  The one night we didn't have cloud cover the sky was mind-blowing.  Even though the house is 500 road miles from our home, it's likely we'll come back.

Very clean and tidy cabin for enjoyment inside and outside. We enjoyed games and fully stocked kitchen inside and canoeing and cooking over fire pit outside. Beautiful, quiet and peaceful setting overlooking the lake.

First of all, Anne was very prompt in all communications and offered guidance for our stay. The cabin was just amazing! We stayed 4 nights with our dog and we loved every minute of it! The cabin is totally renovated and everything is new and has anything you need! It is pristine and provides such warmth the minute you open the door! It is in the wilderness overlooking a beautiful lake and the tranquility provides for memories of a lifetime!

Terrific Camp Experience

Great private location with very comfortable and clean camp. Gravel access road might be a challenge for someone with a car that has low clearance, but it added to the remote feel and we didn’t have any issues with our Subaru. The host was great and everything was as advertised. The family really enjoyed mornings and evenings by the water’s edge and hanging out on the deck. The lake was quiet and a fantastic place to paddle without the worry of speeding boats.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Even with the unanticipated well digging at the end of our stay, our overall experience was wonderful and we were impressed that the hosts reimbursed us a portion without hesitation given the inconvenience the well dig caused.

The cabin was all it was advertised. The new remodel was flawless. The location was quiet, secluded and beautiful. The falling leaves were a constant source of entertainment. This cabin has set the bar very high for my future rentals. This property is outstanding.

This was exactly what we were hoping for. Quiet, beautiful location, comfortable and clean. Having a wood stove was a pleasant surprise since we had a few days of rain. We took the canoe out on the lake & didn’t see another person. We are already dreaming about our next visit.

Wonderful

Great location on the lake. Fishing off the dock was fun. Canoeing in the evening to watch the sunset. Water was warm and refreshing for swimming. We saw eagles flying over the lake. Shooting stars at night. Great cabin to relax and unwind.
