Hotell nära Machu Picchu

“Clean, quiet room for sleep. Good breakfast.”

“Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Ollantayambo. We stayed in a ‘bungalow’ which was on 2 floors. Kingsize bed with bathroom and seating area upstairs and double bedroom, bathroom and living area downstairs and very nicely furnished with good views over the countryside. There was a small kitchen area with a microwave but bizarrely no crockery or cutlery. Kettle and teabags supplied but no coffee(!) Set in expansive gardens with alpacas wandering freely around. Comfortable room but beware the train...

“Nreat hotel for a stay in Aguas Calientes. It's not mentioned in the descrition but to get to the hotel, you will need to go through steep steps. Still hotel its nice, has a nice view and the location is great.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Small but cozy. Beautifully decorated room. Central heating. Hot shower. Amazing breakfast.”

“This is a good hotel, and our room had a fantastic view. The only reason for our bad review was related to two things. First, we had to have maintenance to our room twice, first because the remote control for heating did not work, and then the safe stopped working due to bad batteries. The second thing was that when we wanted advice on how to best find a guide for Machu Picchu, the woman in the reception recommended their trusted service with a Local tour operator. But she said the guide was not...

“Not a good experience at all. Run down and dirty. Stunk. Tiniest bathroom-size of airplane bathroom. Got bites all over my arms and legs at night from something. Bites turned into welts and caused muscle pain. Breakfast in morning was cold. Warmer under food was not plugged in. Staff were trying to be helpful but didn’t know English well. Got charged for two nights but only stayed one. Tried calling them for almost 4 months prior to reservation to cancel second night and they never got back to...

“Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Good internet Wi-Fi.”

“All in all a solid Hotel for some nights in Santa Teresa.”

“Clean nice hotel with friendly staff minutes from the train station. They helped with the bags up the flight of stairs and proactively even called me to wake me up on time for my Machu Pichu bus. Great stay.”

“Close to bus stop and lots of restaurants and shops. The rooms are small and need hanging space. There was no hanging space or shelf or closet to put your clothes.”

“Hotellet är rent och fräscht och ligger ett stenkast från tågstationen och busstationen för vidare färd mot Macchu Picchu. Enkelt hotell men perfekt för en natt eller två :)”

“Clean room and facilities. Friendly staff”

“Billigt enkelt hotell som funkar utmärkt för en övernattning. Rummen är väldigt små, i stort sett går all plats åt till sängarna. Personalen verkade trevliga och hjälpsamma men pratar bara spanska.Enkel men ok frukost. De har skåp att låsa in väskorna i om du stannar längre i staden är på hotellet. Inceckningen börjar 12 (inte 9 som det står på hotels.com)”
