1. Peppers Bluewater Resort
Peppers Bluewater ResortLake Tekapo

“Overall, we had a good stay. Couldn’t ask for a better location, we ate in the hotels restaurant and had a great meal. The room was clean and had nice amenities. However, it wasn’t an overly comfortable stay due to the bed. The mattress was an old spring mattress and it was had and uncomfortable. I woke up at 5:30am and moved to the couch.”

“After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced. ”

“This is a great location as it's just across the road from shops and an easy 5 min walk to the Church of the Good Shepherd. The room was clean and cozy, although it seems to be next to the laundry so you can hear the staff talking and working as they did the laundry and hear the machines going. They usually only start from around 8am until early evening, but if you're a bit sensitive to noise, this might not be ideal. The kettle was also broken although the owner apologised. The driveway...

“Clean and easy check-in. When we got there the fridge had been turned off and had an odor to it, also no milk for tea. You can hear and smell the cooking from the many adjacent neighbours. Cant open window due to no screen and missing simple things like hooks to hang things in the bathroom and no hand towel rack either.
Too over priced for a room with no cooking (just a microwave wold have been good).”

“Very clean. There is a tiny view of the lake and you are one house off the main road so it’s noisy on the deck. The mountains are pretty but, Looks much more like there is a big view than there is. ”
