It was a very long day for me, spent entirely under the sun. When I finally arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was nowhere to be found. After searching for about five minutes, I discovered her outside the hotel, sitting in a chair and talking on the phone.
When she returned, she handed me my room keys. I went upstairs, but the keys didn’t work. I went back down, and she said she would come with me. She tried the lock herself and discovered the battery was dead. She went downstairs to get new batteries, came back, replaced them, but the lock still didn’t work. By this time, 30 minutes had passed.
She then decided to give me another room. I waited by the elevator for another 15 minutes before calling her from my phone at reception, as I had too much luggage to keep going up and down. Eventually, she sent someone with the new keys, and I finally got into the room, 40- 45 minutes after I had first arrived.
Unfortunately, the bed looked like it had been used before, and I found a long strands of hair under the comforter, curtain was ready to collapse, bathroom looked really old and needs work. There was also no working AC in the lobby and I was sweating. Although this hotel is convenient for me, I don’t think I will be returning.
