“We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included. The property manager and staff were very nice and accommodative.
They gave us free use of the SUPs and kayaks which was lots of fun.
The rooms were nice and freshly renovated.
Highly recommended for either a summer stay to enjoy the lake activities or a winter stay to hit the nearby slopes.

“Stayed here for a week with my friends, couldn’t have wished for anything more, Yu-San and his wife are a lovely couple, good breakfast every morning, very helpful with dinner tips and shuttle back and forth to town or different ski areas.
Will stay here again next time I’m in Myoko.”

“Only the couple managing the property, doing all rooms and check in and dining. So be patient. Even they might not know much English they still provide great service and try to accommodate your needs.
Nice restaurants and convenient store around though most close early. Walking distance to the Akakura Obsen Ski area.”

“Very cute Ryokan hotel. We booked a Japanese style room including dinner and breakfast, food was very tasty if you like traditional Japanese food. If you prefer other cuisines you might opt for booking a room that doesn’t have food included. Staff is very friendly! We booked private onsen and that was also very nice. Definitely recommend this hotel! ”

"Comfortable hotel right by the train station, nice view from the room of the city, friendly staff. The hotel is in a really good location. Only downside is they charge for parking."
"Stayed 2 nights to rest and recover before going to Tokyo. The hotel was a short walk from the station with idyllic scenery with beautiful Sakura and mountains.
The personelle were super nice and helpful. They provided a free bus ride to the snow monkey park.
The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel dinner and breakfast were amazing. Highly recommend the dinner.
The onsen was really hot which took some time getting used to but I think that’s part of the experience.
Only real downside were the hard pillows which seem to be a theme in Japan.
Overall really enjoyable stay and we highly recommend going here."
