Wonderful little hotel with amazing staff
The room was big and had all the amenities you could wish for. The washroom was big and constructed of frosted glass walls. It looks nice but offers less privacy. The shower was nice and had god water pressure. Our room was located on the rear of the building and offered no view to the streets but I liked it beacuse it was more private and very quiet. The beds where nice but a little firm. The breakfast had everything we wanted although the variety and choice was limited. On the same street of the hotel is the Metro station and a large 24/7 supermarket. The location is convenient and it's easy to walk too most places. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Nice hotel!
Mycket fint hotell, bokat Junior Suite, stor och rymlig, men det finns inga fönster ut!! Det finns endast betongglasfönster mot en mycket liten "innergård" det framgår inte någonstans på Hotels.com eller deras hemsida. men vi fick byta till ett rum mot gatan, med fransk balkong, vilket var mycket trevligare. Frukosten var bra, allt man behöver finns. Trevligt med Kaffe/Te/Juice tillgängligt utan kostnad. Kylskåp på rummet. Sängarna är OK för att vara i Spanien, inte så mjuka som Svenska sängar men bra. Hjälpsam och trevlig personal. fixade och hjälpte till med allt möjligt. Bärbar Wifi puck som man får låna under hela vistelsen och ta med ut på stan är väldigt smidigt. Tog mindre än 20 min med Taxi från flyget, 30 EUR.

Weekendresa med äldre
Utmärkt litet och personligt hotell med ett bra läge. Personalen gjorde det yttersta för att våran vistelse skulle bli så bra som möjligt.

Vår vistelse var mycket trevlig. Hotellet hade en mycket bra frukost! Men tyvärr så fick vi inte ett rum med utsikt mot gatan utan en mer instängd utan fönster och dagsljus. Men enda fördelen med det var att man fick sova gott i mörker. Men rekommenderar att ni tar ett med fönster mot vägen. Hotellet låg nära sol och där fanns det mycket mer matställen och shopping.

Nära till allt.
Vi bodde tre nätter med rum på femte våningen.Hotellet ligger endast 2-3 minuters gång väg från Lavapies metrostation! Kvällsöppna butiker i kvarteret om man vill handla drycker eller piroger. Frukosten bestod av skinka, ost, en sorts bröd kaffebröd, juicer , kanska enkel med andra ord men god. Personalen mycket tillmötesgående.

It's not a five star hotell feeling as other comments say, it may be better than 2 starts but not 5! Breakfast is cheap and easy but not a wide selection as a continental. Good if you want a cheap hotel but still fresh, but not as luxury as comments might say!

We found this hotel to a really nice oasis in busy Madrid. It is a boutique hotel and not fancy. If you need a five star place, this may not be the place for you. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We thought it was a really good location -- a 15-20 walk to the Prado or La Latina or other intetesting places. Our room was clean and the breakfast was good. This quiet little place is a hotel i would return to the next time I'm in Madrid.

Too expensive and neighborhood was not clean. Next time I'd stay near the airport and take a taxi to the center, it will be cheaper that way. My hotel near the airport was much cleaner.

Great hotel in an ideal location walking distance to the wonderful museums of Madrid. Loved our spacious room overlooking a charming street, complete with classic Madrid balcony. Very comfortable bed and great shower (most important things, always). Paloma at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay lovely with a genuineness that isn't often found. We also met the proprietor on our way out, who was lovely and friendly as well. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Good location to walk to train station and attractions. Very friendly front desk staff and a nice welcome glass of sparkling wine at check in at this small hotel. A clean, modern room with balcony and twin beds made up as one bed instead of two was a nice touch, as was the teapot and bottled water. Small, but adequate breakfast. We enjoyed our stay at Artrip.

The Artrip is a nice simpler option for those not needing lots of hotel amenities (gym, bar/restaurant, pool, etc.). The location is a couple blocks from a Metro stop, which is the best way to get around Madrid, and has many choices around it for a morning cafe/snack or other eating/drinking needs. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean and surprisingly quiet with the windows and shuttler closed at night, as it's on a busy street which is loud with them open. We enjoyed our stay here and would consider staying again if we returned to Madrid.

Artrip is a super nice hotel! Staff there are super nice and helpful. They provide free nice coffee and water which is very thoughtful. For people travel outside, free coffee and water means a lot! The hotel room is not big but has very nice and modern design, of course, it is very clean too. The location is excellent, walkable to everywhere but still you feel very safe in late night. I would recommend it to my friends whoever travels to Madrid!

Clean, new, fresh and comfortable. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. I arrived early without advanced notice, and they were happy to put me in my room early. That was very convenient for me. I walked with my luggage to the train - super easy.

Tiny hotel in a great location. Like many European boutique hotels, the Artrip is deceptively plain on the outside, but the inside is very nice. The room was spacious and well organized. Most importantly, the staff was extremely helpful.

Great staff. Super friendly and very helpful. Rooms nice, very clean and fantastic shower. Only complaint would be the lack of counter space around the sink (none at all) and a very small mirror over the sink. Hard for 2 people to get ready.

Close to the train station and close to the Reina Sofia museum. Not a tourist heavy area which my wife and I enjoyed. The property was small and our room was basic, clean and what we expected. The staff as the friendliest and the continental breakfast a plus.

This was an excellent stay not only in Madrid rather my best pick for roughly the entire month we spent in Spain. Great location to all major sites that we wanted to visit and they were a lot. All walking distance which is a great! personal choice. Many restaurants and shopping including fruits stores and supermarkets great location indeed. Very Clean and management is very considerate they offer free water and coffee and trust me you need to drink lots of water after all the walking. What made this hotel exceptional our mind the friendliness of the staff members, as every other hotel the are pleasant. But, without a doubt we were received by the most kind and super nice receptionest that we never came across in all our hotel visits ever. Helena is without a doubt a difference maker. Her professional attitude and the way she spoke fluently in english and her calmness wow. We believe she is the greatest asset Artrip has. Had I known I would have stayed all the Madrid vacation on at Artrip. Wow indeed !!! Thanks Lena for everything wishing you all the best in your future. We hope you realize all your dreams. L’accueil et le petit déjeuner sont très bien. Par contre la chambre était vraiment mal aménagée, les divisions , la douche dans un petit passage qui sert aussi de salon. Chambre qui donne sur la rue très bruyante.

This little hotel was so clean and modern. Also, there is a small, simple lobby with an attendant who was very nice. I would definitely stay again. It was near the train station which I needed. Unfortunately, the area was a bit sketchy.
