Koi Kottage is in the country club community of Maggie Valley, seconds from the beautiful public golf course. We are 6miles to Lake Junaluska, 8miles to Chataloochee Ski Area, 13miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 23miles to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Koi Kottage is a convenient place to stay and explore Asheville to the Great Smoky National Park and everything in between. Come drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, breathe the mountain air while enjoying the many hikes and waterfalls nearby. For the sports/adventure enthusiasts there are many activities including golf, skiing, snow tubing, zip lining, horse back riding, white water rafting and so much more!

Our 4bd cottage sits on 3/4 acre of beautiful gardens with a koi pond and a treehouse that sleeps 2 in warm weather on twin size cots. There are garden paths for exploring, 2 ponds for watching the turtles and frogs and feeding the fish, and many places to sit and relax over your favorite beverage. We offer a 6 person hot tub to relax in after a long day of exploring. Koi Kottage is perfect for families traveling together or friends ready for adventure and relaxation on vacation.

Driving up to Koi Kottage is like driving into a storybook. Our unique 3 level Scandinavian style cottage looks like no other home around. Built by hand in the 1970's, it has beautiful scrolling and details you won't see anywhere else. As you walk through the front door you will find a bright and cheerful interior with stained glass windows. The kitchen provides you with everything you will need to prepare meals for your entire group and boasts brand new stainless steel appliances.

Koi Kottage has 2 separate Livingroom areas with smart tvs so your group can spread out comfortably. The upstairs Livingroom has a new beautiful woodstove for warmth or just romantic ambiance. All 3 levels of the cottage have full bathrooms which is extra convenient and include luxury shampoo/conditioner/bodywash.

Level 1- Has a patio area with outdoor cafe table and 4 high seats. It has a step free entrance via sliding glass door convenient for people with mobility struggles. You will enter into the Livingroom with Smart TV, Pool/Ping Pong Table, Board Games, folding trays for snacking and plenty of seating. The bathroom includes a shower and all amenities. The Quiet Queen Bedroom includes premium green tea mattress and bedding, full length mirror, usb chargers, and the coziest rug you'll ever step on. This level is perfectly secluded from the rest of the cottage. There is a hallway with washer/dryer and the stairs leading up to the upper levels.

Level 2- Is a bright open floor plan with a full kitchen, dining area, and Livingroom with wood stove and Smart TV. There are many windows and 3 sets of French doors to look out over the lush property. The French doors open to the wrap around deck that include rocking chairs and patio furniture to sit and relax or have a grilled meal at the picnic table. The dining area is set into a bay window overlooking the garden and birdfeeders so you can birdwatch while drinking your morning coffee. We provide both a drip coffee maker and a French press, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. We provide enough dining seating for 8 people. The Garden Queen bedroom includes a premium mattress and bedding, a remote working area with desk, comfy chair, and high speed internet. The French doors open to the back patio and hot tub area with warm string lights hung above. You will also view the hammock and grassy area from this bedroom and has easy access to the large 1/4 acre Koi pond. The bathroom on this level is a full bathroom with all amenities and bathtub. Outside the Bedroom and Bathroom is the large staircase to the top level.

Level 3- Opens up into the Loft area. The Loft includes a Twin Trundle Bed with 2 Twin luxury mattresses and bedding. The Egg Chair is the perfect reading nook for adults and kids alike. The Loft has it's very own Juliet Balcony with cafe table and chairs overlooking the back deck and large Koi pond. This is a stunning view of the property both day and night. The King Retreat Bedroom includes a green tea mattress and premium bedding, a white noise machine, soft white shag rug, mirror covered closet doors, a romantic electric fireplace, and a table and chair for reading and enjoying your favorite beverage. The full bathroom includes led lighting that can be used as a night light, all amenities, and a shower.
