My group was in the upstairs unit. It seemed clean.
I dont know who's fault it is the advertisers or the owner's but many of the amenities listed are flat wrong. We were shown there were two queen size beds. There is one king and one double. No swimming pool and looks like there never was one. There is no business areas. There is a big nice tv with no antenna so the only way to see anything is via a google account. Yes, there is a stove (gas) but the igniter doesnt work so you need flint or a lighter. Very small minimal parking area
There s 3 brand new heating ac units but none of them would work. The owner came and got one working the day before we left.
There was one bath towel for each guest. When asked about hand towels for the bathroom I was shown paper towels. He did bring over wash rags for the bathroom half way through visit.
Down stairs guests had heat turned up high so it was sweltering until owner asked them to turn it down. Working ac would have been nice.
There was no where to plug a cell phone in near the bed.
It could be a fairly decent place if some essential amenities were met i.e. night stand with power on the sides of the bed, extra blankets and appropriate towels and wash rags. Working ice maker. Cable tv or at least an antenae. Seperate hvac units for the two rentals.
I believe he is trying and willing to make it nice. I think he just doesnt know what is expected. I suggest he go spend a night in a hotel then spend a few nights in his to learn.
