“Terribly disappointed. Firstly, double booked, we were sent off to Mamalla Inn in the village. Day 2. We were promised our room when we got back from our visit to the city. Our luggage was still lying at the reception when we got back. After waiting at the reception for 40 minutes we were packed into a room that was hurriedly cleaned up. Towels were in shreds, door lamination peeling off. Unfortunately we had included breakfast and dinner in our package. I haven't eaten worse food than that...

“I really liked this place, the staff was very friendly anf forthcoming and food was excellent. The beach access is easy and the beach is absolutely stunning albeit wild. It’s not a 5-star hotel in the european sense but a great space if you want a bit of privacy and peace when visiting Mamallapuram.”

“I would say this is one of the best beach resorts near Chennai and value for money. Limited rooms but they have a nice pool, lot of outdoor space for games like cricket, foot ball etc.,. Beach - at a walkable distance and an indoor TT and carrom hall. Rooms are tidy and spacious with a good view. Breakfast spread is just about ok, can have variety and food can be hot. Otherwise nothing to complain here. Would deftly suggest this place for a weekend getaway. Kids enjoyed their time here. P.S :...

“Det är första gången jag bor här. Fantastiskt ställe mitt i Mamallapuram. En oväntad oas av stillhet, god frukost, nära havet. Fantastisk pool. De hade en taxi driver Thuri som körde mig ditt jag behövde åka. Ibland en halv eller heldag. Dit åker jag igen!”

“Nice location, in centre of town, very near beach, but quiet too. Friendly and good value. Nearby is Joe's Cafe for excellent coffee and hot and cold snacks freshly made. On main street nearby there is great place to get laundry done, very good quality and price. Top Star I think it is called. Also very friendly and nice tea shop next to it. Also check out Sabhra restaurant across from temple near Krishna Butter Ball for great N. Indian food at very good prices. Great town and beach, but...
