“We had a really great time at Mystic Mountain. The service was awesome and the receptionist, Ms Gurung was super friendly and helpful. Our room had a nice big patio which we loved. However the shower room felt a bit small. If the weather is clear, you get an amazing view of the mountains and clouds right from the room. We were lucky to catch a perfect sunrise and stunning mountain views from our patio. It was absolutely beautiful. We arrived at Mystic Mountain by bike and unexpectedly ran out...

“Lovely hotel with nice, big rooms beautiful pool/bar area, great gym and nice staff. It is also located in a nice area with walking distance to several places including buddha stoupa, without being a noisy area. Breakfast was okay, a little lacking for our taste BUT the omelet and the fruits were VERY nice. Again: staff was very helpful and nice! Some minus for: the floors in the room could have had a scrubbing down. Not a huge issue for us but still.”

“We went to Chandragiri Hills for two nights in Oct 2024 in the hopes of seeing clear views of the Himalayas, and Mount Everest. We were not disappointed. The best time to see the mountains is early morning. With luck, it will be clear enough to see Annapurna and Mount Everest. We were lucky enough to see both. The property was nice, comfortable, and the restaurant had great food. ”

“The hotel is good and the staff really cared about us having a good time during our stay. It's a modern hotel meaning you will get a comfort level that's different from most other offerings in Kathmandu. On the other hand you also lose some of the charm those places offer. Great rooftop pool, nice lounge with a view and a good breakfast. Our kids also enjoyed the stay. It's in the heart of the Thamel area with all it's pros and cons. Since it's on a side street you won't be distured by any noice...
