Bra läge på stranden men dyrt hotell.
Väldigt långsam incheckning vi fick vänta 45 min fast vi var där sent på eftermiddagen. Hårda sängar men fin strand. Dyrt på hotellet.

Stay away!
I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend and it was not at all what be bought and expected. When we did our reservation this exact hotel marketed themselves as 4,5 stars at hotels.com, but in fact it is only a 3 star hotel. This was updated first after I made the complaint in January 2019. I have since then tried to have a dialog with them to sort this out, provided them with everything they have asked for to prove that they frauded us, but they do not assume any responsibility at all. For 6 months I have been trying to have a dialog with them but they do not respond fast or at all so I need constantly to remind them to get any answers. The restaurants are not any nice so we had to eat lunch and dinner at the nearby hotels most of the time. To me it is amazing how they can operate within the service industry at all.

In the mail communication, we clearly stated and gave you a screenshot of our property as 3 star and not 4.5 star. We already informed you that hotel.com marketed it as 4.5 star and it is not from our end. Its a bit strange that you found our restaurants not nice, as we have top five restaurants, each restaurant has its unique cuisine and ensure to make guest palette with fond memories. Fanns ingen balkong på standardrummen, TVn fungerade inte. Fönstret gick att öppna och då såg man ner på ett skräpigt tak. Möblerna i rummet borde kläs om, väldigt nersutten soffa. Fick städning ibland sent på eftermiddagen och handdukar var det ont om, fick vänta med att duscha till senare. Fick säga till städaren om att få schampo, duschtvål osv eftersom han glömde hela tiden att fylla på. De som gav honom pengar fick förstås snabbare städning. Lite nergånget hela hotellet och vi var för det mesta hänvisade att äta där eftersom det var långt och mörkt att gå på dessa smala vägar till andra restauranger. Solstolarna var för få, så vi fick sitta i foajen vissa dagar. Lakanen byttes inte på hela tiden, dvs 14 dagar. Personalen i receptionen var mycket trevliga och även på spat. Personalen i restaurangerna var det si och så med. Hotellet låg ju fint utmed en fin strand och bedårande blått vatten och underbar röd solnedgång.

DISGUSTING FOOD!!
The location of the hotel is amazing as it is right on the beach. We had a delux room 50m from the beach which was perfect. The hotel itself is old, the service is not good and you can barely eat the food. We had to go to the nearby five star hotel to get something to eat even though we had prepaid dinner at Berjaya Beau. DISGUSTING FOOD!!

Tyvärr ganska oengagerad personal i receptionen. Vi fick ofta be om handdukar till rummet. Ibland slut på strandhanddukar och solstolar.

Utmärkt läge vid stranden
Hotellet har ett perfekt läge precis vid stranden, går inte att bo mycket bättre. Vi hade läst en del recensioner där man tyckte servicen hos personalen var dålig. Jag håller inte alls med, de flesta var väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående; t ex ordnades det fram en spjälsäng åt vår son trots att det tydligt anges på hemsidan att de inte erbjuder sådana. Hotellet är lite slitet på sina ställen men helt okej. Det finns inte så mycket solstolar vid poolen, men stranden ligger precis bredvid och det är bara att slå sig ner. Vi hade halvpension och maten var helt okej, men som alltid med buffé blir det lite tråkigt efter ett par dagar. Middagen på den kinesiska restaurangen var bäst. Om priset är ok rekommenderar jag halvpension eftersom det är rätt annars är rätt dyrt.

Average standard, with nice beach.
A good hotel for the family, with pool, bar and PADI centre. The standard is moderate so is the cleanliness, also the buffet food on breakfast and dinner including the service is average. The rooms are very poorly insulated, you will easily hear the neighbours conversation, foot step or TV in the night. Be prepared to hunt for some sun chairs in the morning, not enough for half of the guests! The upside is the location, close to a rather nice long beach with plenty of sand and good possibilities for a swim, however rough sea is not unusual. Also some nearby restaurants and shops to choose from.

Något slitet hotell med perfekt strandläge
Personalen var generellt ganska otrevlig, de gjorde de man bad om men det var inte med någon större glädje. (med några få undantag) Maten och frukosten var inte särskilt rolig, varierande eller god. Jag hade definitivt inte valt att köpa till måltider på detta ställe. Det finns flera hyfsade restauranger på gångavstånd om man går längsmed stranden norrut i ett hundratal meter. Rummet och faciliteterna var osmakligt inredda, gamla och i stort behov av renovering. Hela området var ganska tråkigt och ofräscht. Städningen var under kritik, var och varannan dag fick vi be om nya handdukar eller toapapper för att de glömde fylla på eller byta ut. Strandläget vägde upp för alla hotellets brister, det ligger precis på den fantastiska stranden som är en av öns bästa. Trots att det är fullt med hotell och annan bebyggelse känns det inte trångt utan är väldigt skönt. Bra och fint badvatten! Bra läge på Mahé; på bra strand, nära många restauranger, nära till Victoria för en dagsutflykt, bra utgångspunkt för äventyr med hyrbil söderut. Helt ok som budgetalternativ men om jag hade råd skulle jag utan tvekan välja ett fräschare hotell!

En del av personalen behöver verkligen gå "charmkursen". Särskilt i receptionen. Bartendern däremot, var alltid glad o pratsam. Dålig städning av golv på rummet. Kan ju bero på deras konstiga typ av borst/kvast. Frukostbuffén var okej men saknade grovt bröd.

Great location without any feeling for service
An hotel right on the lovely beach. Unfortunately the service on the hotel is very much below par and there is not much cosines feeling about it. Be very careful before you go to the pizza restaurant as the service in non-existent and the food is terrible. That said, the hotel is right on the beach and you will find multiple great restaurants just 5 min walk along the beach. I will definitely return to Seychelles again, but I will not revisit this hotel.

Ligger precis vid stranden, bästa läget på bästa stranden på Mahe. En liten men ok pool finns om man har barn. Trevlig trädgård att invänta mörkret i, medan man sippar påsen cocktail och tittar på fruit batsen som flyger. I skymningen. Rummen av hygglig storlek med AC, ingen balkong. Restaurangerna är tämligen rudimentära, men det finns flera alternativ i närheten av bra klass. Frukosten är inget att hänga i granen, men det gäller egentligen på alla hotell i Seychellerna. Som helhet ett ok budgetalternativ.

Location perfect. The beach of the hotel is probably the best in Beau Vallon. Outside restaurants are within (beach)walking distance. Only 10 min bus drive to capital Victoria. Friendly and attentive staff, specifically at beach&pool. Breakfast & dinner fine. The 3,5 stars is honered, but the prices are for a 4 stars hotel.

We like the property and have stayed here many times, but this time we found many faults eg on arrival the tv wasn't working one of the remotes was missing the safe was broken had to fix it, the spar had Alge coming out of the jets then the power went out as there was a short in the spa It went on and on. usually we have some faults but this time it was a litany of faults . This time one plus was the only time we had hot water all the time . We stayed at the HENNESSY hotel in MAURITUS and we could not fault it, and it was a 4 star hotel. We doubt we will stay at Berjaya again , pity as the beach and the property surrounds make for a great stay

The hotel is a decent place to stay and inexpensive compared to other places, however it is by no means cheap. A few annoying things: even though there are two people checking in the room, they give you only one key. They had to actually cut out an extra key for me at the price of SCR 150(abt USD 20, no refund upon return of the key). There are no elevators - the 2 flights of stairs in the scorching heat was quite something. When climbing up the said stairs there are nice picture glass windows but they are dirty, which is really bad as this is the first impression of the hotel you get as you go up to your room. All in all, our stay was pleasant. The girls at the reception desk were very courteous and helpful; especially as our luggage had gone astray in the airline system. The room service was good. The bed was comfortable. Out of the 3 restaurants, two of them were very good but expensive. The pizzeria resto was not especially good. The busboys at reception were very helpful to carry our luggage up and down the infernal stairs. Would I go back to stay there one day? Yes, I would!!!

Beautiful beach
The hotel is right on a beautiful beach with lots of lounge chairs. Swimming is great with just enough waves to make it fun. The Indian restaurant on site has really good food.

Horrible staff , I couldn’t recommend anybody to stay at this poorly managed one star facility it ruined my whole vacation ! Check in made us wait for six hours lied to us continually it was a complete fiasco and very very disappointing !

Only WiFi in Lobby
Early Arrival was confusing and not secure. Luggage was I tagged and stored in a common closet that anyone could access. After sitting in unoccupied beach chairs for 90 minutes, we were asked by hotel security to vacate chairs for guests who had “reserved” them by placing clean unopened towels on each one. Sand was kicked on me from head to toe by a guest who claimed to have “tripped”. No WiFi or TV in room although IT was contacted

It’s a shame to call it a 4* hotel. Absolutely disappointed by everything. And on top an unreasonably high price.
