Detta hotel var tyvärr delägd eller helägd av ryssar. Det gick äldre, mycket runda gubbar med otroligt fixade mycket unga tjejer. Såg när vi åkte ifrån detta hotell att de yngre tjejerna reste därifrån själva. Hörde dessutom rykte om eskort verksamhet. Hotellet var ok men påminner om ett 70-tals komplex med noll charm. Smutsigt vatten i fontäner och lite dåligt underhållet. Rekommenderar verkligen inte detta hotell.

Slitet men bekvämt
Vi hade otur och fick ett rum långt bort i en mindre välskött del, på detta stora hotellkomplex. Det var rent, men såklart fuktigt och jättevarmt, och AC:n funkade dåligt. Personalen hjälpsamma och trevliga. Vi fick betala en tusenlapp extra för att checka ut kl 18. Frukostbuffén var gigantisk, och i jämförelse med annan mat på Seychellerna stod den sig bra. Poolen är superstor och det var härligt att simma runt. Hela hotellet, poolen och alla faciliteter är nötta och slitna, i behov av renovering. Precis nedanför ligger en av seyschellernas populäraste stränder, som var mer folktät än andra vi besökte där, vilket inte säger mycket för det var ändå glest och luftigt. Det var heller inte den vackraste stranden, men det är endast i jämförelse med andra vi besökte i landet. Det är ändå en drömstrand på en drömplats. Vi hade velat stanna längre!

Hugh and pleasant resort with a amazing pool area. Great restaurants, we would just wish for a slightly bigger menu though. The staff was excellent, specially Abdulfattah in the reception. 5 stars! The spa and fitness center is highly recommended. With great treatments and facilities it’s one of the best spa we have been visiting. In addition to the spa there is saunas, pool and a nice relax area. Don’t miss the tennis court.

Absolutely lovely hotel
We had an absolutely lovely stay at Savoy Resort & Spa. The hotel is located in Beau Vallon, and our room was 1 min walk from the beach, which you also could see from our big terrace. The room as well as the hotel was clean and fresh. The AC worked perfectly and the bed was nice. We chose half-board which was nice, we ate at all three different restaurants. The main restaurant served a very generous buffet for breakfast and dinner. We will definitly come back in the future. It is a big resort but not at all crowded. Mostly we had the big pool for ourselves. Indeed a 5 star hotel!

Tyvärr krävdes det tiotal samtal när ACn inte fungerade och för att få tillgång till Minibaren. Även ett stort minus att dom försökte nergradera när vi var tvungna att byta rum. Annars var hotellet kanon. Sen så är seyschellerna så fantastiskt att det inte spelar någon roll med den dåliga servicen.

4 tropical nights at Mahe Savoy Hotel
The hotel was in general very nice, great gardens and overall tropical feeling. Cons : 1. Really slow checkin (30 mins waiting with 2 year old kid tired/sweating after big flight). 2. No gold or vip recognition, (discount for spa or drinks/food) but nothing as such ever happend. According to hotels.com we should have Förmåner för VIP- och Gold-medlemmar ingår 10% rabatt på mat och dryck 30% rabatt på spatjänster 3. Refused ro allow late checkin (till 1 or 2 pm) when requested. My 2 year old son had strong couch and we had a flight to catch late evening, but we were refused when requested 4. Sometimes slow wifi in room, but totally acceptable since we are in Paradise :) Pros: 1. Kids pool, comfy seats, nice adult pool, super close to Beau Vallon Beach. (1min walk) and towels/sunchsirs at guests dispose ln the beach 2. Room was very nice with great view. We got a nice tour by electric car and kid loved it. They were checking twice per day for room service cleaning etc. Kids place is fully AC and full of toys so u can entertain your kids. 3. Breakfast was really nice 5* and you could have any coffee or fresh juice you would like. 4. Nice room with great view. Refill of water bottles was much appreciated 5. Secure easy parking close to reception. Overall great value for money and service, they were all very helpful to give best experience to their guests

Fint hotell med en del förbättringspotential
Vi hade bokat två rum med frukost för en natt den 10 april och sen ytterligare två rum för en natt fem dagar senare. När vi kom första gången hade de registrerat tre rum för oss, och när vi kom andra gången hade registrerat att vi bara skulle ha ett rum. Vi ville ha frukosten via roomservice men då hade vi fått betala frukosten (som vi betalat vid bokningen) en gång till samt till ett mycket högre pris (då man fick betala för respektive artikel, t ex juice, bröd, omelett osv). Det borde ha gått att få dra av det vi redan hade betalt för frukosten alternativt en fast avgift. Vi beställde var sin lunch med cola för 620 SCR, våra vänner bokade samma oss, men såg att det fanns som business-lunch för 600 SCR. Vi frågade om de kunde ändra beställningen eftersom maten var densamma, men kyparen sa att det inte gick. Det var irriterande att betala mer än våra vänner, speciellt som de dessutom fick var sin dessert på köpet i business-lunchen. Ännu mer irriterande när det senare, på en annan av hotellets restauranger, gick väldigt bra att riva ett redan utskrivet kvitto för att vi ville beställa mer. Hotellet för övrigt var fint, även om det var stora avstånd speciellt som gångar och ingångar var planerade så att avstånden blev ännu längre än de behövde vara. Rummen var rymliga och fina. Det låg direkt vid stranden sånär som en strandpromenad som gick emellan, och hotellet hade egna solstolar och en liten strandbar. Frukosten var jättebra med många alternativ att välja på.

bra vistelse
Savoy ligger fantastiskt vid stranden i Beau Vallon. Deras egna poolområde är väldigt lyckat och det kan vara mycket folk runt poolen utan att det känns fullt. Rummen är stora och väldig bra planerade. Bra roomservice, men i övrigt lite tråkig utbud av mat på hotellet, men det finns god alternativ precis utanför

Fantastic in every way!
Brand new, stylish, awesome hotel with all the amenities you can expect from a big 5* property. Everything and then some. However, their biggest asset is the staff which are just AMAZING! As we were traveling with a 1,5 yo we didn't know what to expect in terms of how he would handle the climate change and all new surroundings, but with staff like that it was nothing but sheer pleasure every single day for us all! Everyone at Savoy deserves a gold medal for being greatly patient, totally customer focused and so genuinely friendly - when several staff members even walk up to you in the streets outside the hotel and chat a while on their day off work - you just know you've come to the right place. Thank you all, every single staff member for such a great time - you made our stay truly unforgettable and worth every penny. Warmest regards and wishing you all great success.

Superb hotel at Beau Vallon!
Savoy is a fantastic place to stay at! Beatyful beach right by the hotel, nice and modern rooms, lovely spa and restaurants and truly astonishing service. The personal was very helpful and very nice! If we have to say something negative it would be that the food could have been a little bit better, great breakfast thus!!

Property was above my expectation. Steve in the breakfast dining was superb. Elmo at the reception early Monday morning for our departure shared some good info on the property, so we would encourage friends and family to use the premises in the future. Garry that shuttled us most of the time was also knowledgeable about the property and the Seychelles.

The property is tired and horrendously over-priced. Food and drinks are extortionate and it’s more a 4 star at 6 star prices. Waited 3 hours and 3 phone calls asking for them to find an hdmi cable as the TVs aren’t smart ones…. Gave up in the end. Seems the hotel pockets the service charge and doesn’t pass it on to the staff which is a shame …. Tennis court is not fit for purpose and the pool was dirty with tiles falling off the surroundings.

From the moment of arrival, staff were amazing and took great care to make sure guests have very best possible stay. Great breakfast buffet. Nice spa and massage options. Beach practically at doorstep. Waves are gentle and fun but make extensive swimming a challenge, suggest southwest side of island for still waters. Note that food is very expensive.

Excellent Stay at Savoy Mahe
The property is nice and the staff really make this a 5 star hotel Mr Ahmed has been very gracious and helpful. Ms. Albia also very attentive and helpful. We had a minor issue and Mr Ahmed took care of it immediately- this is the mark of an outstanding property. The beach is also super and the area restaurants are good.

The staff really make this hotel 5 star they were incredible! The facilities are ok I wouldn’t say 5 stars however reliable. Breakfast was top but the other dining options were just ok. Overall the service really made this place and I would visit again !

Lovely place to stay, but we did book a Deluxe Ocean side view room – and there was no view of the ocean. Our room also had problems with: the fridge not working, the air-conditioning not working, the basin plugs not working, some lights not working, the TV not working and the double lock to the balcony being very, very hard to unlock [after being locked by staff every day]. All were relatively quickly resolved, but for the price paid, we shouldn't have experienced this.

In my opinion Savoy overall is beautiful! Right next to a beautiful beach where you can see and meet locals, see Mountains and walk to restaurants. After a couple of room fails (one of our rooms had a leakage), the manager was nice enough to provide an amazing upgrade, and after 2 days traveling, we were just happy to sleep in a bed! Things will happen when you travel, so I will not blame Savoy for having us check in later than 2pm, but the only complaint I will share is their restaurant prices. I walked to a local store and paid whats equivalent to 2 US dollars for their local beer, and at one of their restaurants, I paid almost $20 for this beer on Tap! The price is outrageous and its not even an imported beer. Their brunch restaurant and menu was spectacular, their staff friendly and always willing to help.

Fabulous stay on a glorious island
We had an amazing honeymoon, staying in a 'standard' double at the Savoy, which far exceeded our expectations. A walk in wardrobe with a glamorous standing bath and double sink, a king size bed and an outside seating area with twice daily room cleaning. The highlights were the food and the beach: the food at the main hotel restaurant was fantastic, with a different theme each evening and various options cooked to perfection, with impeccable service by chefs and waiting staff. The hotel has a walk directly onto a beautiful beach, stretching the west coast of the island, with a second restaurant Gecko Bar handily located with food and drinks available to order direct to sun lounger. The Gecko bar is also great to sit in, with excellent lunch and cocktail options and, again, very friendly service. The main pool at the hotel is also fantastic, with great facilities and ample sun loungers, and there is a separate spa area with a second pool and spa area for additional services. Highly recommend the hotel and general Beau Vallon area for anyone considering the Seychelles as a holiday destination!
