Nice place to start a longer vacation
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location with fine beach. Food was ok, but the menu repeated after a few days. Five days was a good length of stay. Dogs was barking every night, was hard getting a sleep.

Very bad condition
Nice pics on the web but in reality, the resort is fallin apart. Even though the beach is very nice, the resort is not so don’t go there!

Absolute paradise! Dream beach. Love this hotel!
Absolutely the best hotel in Seychelles, best Beach for swimming and snorkling any time of day, good temperature in the water too. We enjoyed a bungalow room at the beach. Ah the sunsets we had! Amazing service too. The owner was so kind and showed us good places to go to visit. Stay here at least 2 nights! Longer too if you like. If wetravel to the Seychelles again this hotel is where we'll stay on Mahe! Dreamlike. Thank you!

Familj på resa
Vi är en familj på 6 pers. Vi hade bokat och meddelat att vårt yngsta barn som var med är 7 år.När vi kommer till hotellet står det överallt att barn under 10 år ej får vara på hotell området eller i poolen.Det var jobbigt för vår son att läsa dessa skyltar över allt. Vi fick en del blickar av vissa gäster. Till middagen var det obligatoriskt med långbyxor för männen så vi var glada att vi hyrt bil så att vi kunde åka iväg och äta på kvällarna. Mellan 21.30-22.00 kom alltid en personal och knackade på dörren och frågade om allt var bra svarade man inte öppnades dörren och som tittade in och frågade igen. Bra snorkling, fin strand och fin utsikt.

What a disappointment. Despite having a nice location on a promontory, along with a nice little beach, this hotel underwhelms. The hotel looks like it may have been very nice at one time, but a lack of continued investment and upkeep makes it appear unkempt. Landscaping is unkempt (especially when compared to the Hilton a few doors down. The pool is in fair to poor condition, and heavily chlorinated. Our room was less than stellar - the AC failed to cool well, the windows to the ocean were dirty, and there was what appeared to be a general lack of caring as to the condition of the room. The staff was friendly enough, though. Overall, I wish I would have spent my money elsewhere, as the experience we had was far different than the amount of money spent.

Fin beliggenhet, dårlig service, dra et annet sted
Hotellet har en nydelig beliggenhet på svabergene med en strand ved siden av hotellet. Fantastisk utsikt mot havet og Silouette Island. Rommene var rene og fine. Nye håndklær hver dag. Safen på vårt rom funket ikke og ble aldri fikset heller, selv om vi ble lovt det. Frokosten er veldig god, godt utvalg. Lunsj er også ganske bra. Middagen, not so much, dårlig utvalg og lite rullering på menyen som gjør at det er vanskelig å oppleve nye retter ila. et en-ukes opphold. Vi var veganere, og det gjorde det ekstra vanskelig. Vi ble fort lei maten. Kokkene var dog fantastiske servicemennesker som elsker å servere folk god mat, det er personalet ellers som er problemet. Det bringer meg til mitt neste punkt: Servicen er tragisk! Godt førsteinntrykk med velkomstdrink, men der stoppet det. Ingen smil og "good morning" i resepsjonen. Hvis vi spurte om noe så det ut som de ikke forstod eller fikk vondt. i restauranten fjerner de gjerne tallerken din før du er ferdig hvis du ikke passer på, vi følte oss jagd ut. Oppholdet ble avsluttet med at vi fikk regningen før vi i det hele tatt fikk desserten vi hadde bestilt. Konklusjon: Invester heller noen ekstra lapper i et annet hotell!

Vue exceptionnelle
Le Sunset est en cours de restauration mais malgré ça l’emplacement est exceptionnel. Notre chambre était impeccable avec accès direct sur la plage, vue d’exception, bercé par les vagues elles étaient devant nous, à une dizaine de mètres de notre chambre !!!

Will go again
We enjoyed our stay , the hotel is in an amazing location but sadly in desperate need of maintenance and a significant refurbishment. The staff are lovely particularly Lucy in the restaurant and they are working hard to make everybody happy but the condition of the hotel is not up to standard although we had a very nice room which was very comfortable there was lots of hot water and for a beach holiday it was perfectly adequate.Food was repetitive but a 7 out of 10

The property is beautiful but it is a bit run in the maintenance department. For example, missing down spouts, old paint, moldy cushions, rotting wood. Empty bottles and there consumables by hotel residents were not picked up for a couple of days. Service was top notch!

Das Hotel ist abgewohnt und deutlich renovierungsbedürftig. Das FRühstücksbüffet findet beim Personal reichlich Zuspruch, wird dann leider nicht mehr ohne Aufforderung aufgefüllt. Die Vögel finden auch ihr Frühstück am Büffelt ohne dass das Person sich stört. Der Strand ist ein toller Schnorchelplatz und sauber. Zum Abendessen außer Haus ist ein Auto von Vorteil, die Busse fahren bis 20.30 (Taxi ist teuer). Essen im Hotel können wir nicht empfehlen.

With regards to your comments about the hotel being old, we believe that you must have read previous review but still chose the hotel. Seychelles is a tropical country and with an open air restaurant birds do fly in. Clients should refrain. From feeding them so that they do not stay. If you indeed visited Seychelles we hope to welcome you in the future.

Great hotel, owners time and money needed
Overall the hotel is great. The staff are mainly friendly and helpful and room service on point. Sunsets are divine. Watch outs - the waves and current can get big at high tide. The menu doesn't include service and tax slapping you with an extra 25% on top of any bill. If the owner spent time and money on the hotel and saying hi to guests rather than rocking up in her Bentley and terrifying the staff the atmosphere would be a lot nicer.

Es ist eine sehr schön Unterkunft leider unterkommen meine Zimmer wahr mit See Blick erwünscht leider nicht erfüllt wie in der Beschreibung mit wifi in allen Zimmer verfügbar auch das nicht nur im Restaurant und Lobby und 2 Tage wahr auch eine Störung also kein Internet für die Geste schlecht !!! Das Restaurant das Dach war mit Folie abgedeckt die Toiletten ins Zimmer war auch nicht das saubersten das Papier Halter voll mit Staub und das Behälter der Toiletten Bürste könnte auch mal gewechselt werden das Bett hat eine schöne Holz gestell oben könnte auch mal abgestaubt werden kein Lattenrost dafür doppelt Matratzen 😟das Hotel ist sehr Renovierung Bedürfnis für das Geld am Tag habe mir etwas besseres vorgestellt 😟

Das Hotel is super gelegen Tolle Bucht , ruhig , keine Boom Boom Musik in der Nähe ,leider heruntergekommen ,Preis Leistung überrissen ! wäre wunderschön , Zimmer 10 Schritte vom Meer gelegen , das Essen ist ok , Bedienung geht so , Die Zimmer sind renovier Bedürftig, auch die Matratzen , für 1-2Nächte ok , Beau Vallon Strand ist nicht zu Fuss zu erreichen

The beach is stunning and the restaurant is great. The staff, specially Theo was really helpful and nice. It's a fantastic hotel for the price. There is hardly no Wifi but that's not a bad thing, so many things to see, it was fabulous!

We had read mixed reviews before coming to this hotel, so expectations weren't particularly high. Once we arrived, first impression was great, location is beautiful, views are amazing, great little beach just outside the hotel, etc. However this is it... Service wasn't great, not even a simple smile or welcome when we arrived. All of the staff looked a bit miserable, food wasn't great either. The worst part was check out. We had booked a taxi with a gentleman at the reception for the next morning, he confirmed that it's fine, next morning when passing the reception desk I mantioned to the lady at the desk that we want to change the time to 15mins later. That's what she did, she called a taxi at 10.15am. In the end, we had two cars waiting for us, apparently this gentleman from the reception was going to take us probably with his personal car, and then we had a regular taxi (booked in the morning by lady receptionist) as well. Man receptionist almost started shouting at us why are we double booking taxis, and he was waiting for us to take us where we needed. He argued even for few minutes. I hope the hotel's management or owners will read this review, cause I don't think this is the right way to deal with your hotel's guests and I really don't think this was legal for him to do taxi services. Overall, our experience at the hotel would have been fairly good, the check out ruined this experience and after that I cannot recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön was die Lage betrifft aber hat seine besten zeiten hinter sich sehr runtergekommen wirklich schade wir hatten paarmal stromausfall Wi-fi gabs nur in der Lobby auch nich immer da sich abends alle dort versammelt hatten wenn man ins cafe ging wurde man auch nicht beachtet trotz das die Kellner 5x an einem vorbei gingen das Frühstücks buffet war standard und abends gabs nicht mal buffet sondern nur a la cart wir gingen immer wo anders essen...leider enttäuschend das Hotel....

Nous sommes resté 4 nuits à hôtel Sunset Beach. Si vous comptez réserver je vous conseille de changer d'avis rapidement même si le cadre est magnifique le reste vous fera changer d'avis : -Chambre très sombre et insalubre (Insectes et moustiques écrasés partout sur les murs,jamais nettoyé ). -Gecko qui se baladent de temps en temps dans la chambre. -climatisation qui fuit (avec comme seule solution une serviette pour éponger) -ménage inexistant (on nous a à peine changer les serviettes et en ce qui concerne les draps, jamais). -Pas de bouteille d'eau gratuite, ni à l'arrivée ni pendant le séjour (vous devez payer). -Pas de WiFi dans toutes les chambres de l'hôtel. -Très mauvaise connexion Wi-Fi dans le lobby. -Personnels pas professionnels et pas compétents. -pas grand chose à proximité à pied, le bus toutes les heures le matin, toutes des demi heures à peu près l'après-midi. Bref, à fuir absolument.

Hotel idéalement situé;,lieu exceptionnel Petite structure repartie, ce qui fait que vous n'êtes pas dans un gros complexe avec beaucoup de touristes propreté, gentillesse des équipes et le service au rdv 2 points à améliorer: hotel vieiliissant qui mériterait d'être rénové, ameliorer le menu du soir... pourquoi un menu quand le midi il y a une carte ouverte?

Alors l'hôtel a besoin d'un très sérieux coup de neuf, la déco est très rococo et désuète. Beaucoup de travaux à prévoir. Il a une place exceptionnelle avec une plage et de beaux jardins bien entretenus. Sinon notre chambre était spacieuse, mais la climatisation pas assez forte sous ce plafond cathédrale. Elle était excessivement chargée et le mobilier pas du tout en bon état, la balustrade du balcon aussi, très dangereux. Petit déjeuner inexistants suivant l'heure, nous avons pourtant testé des horaires différents. Le personnel fait un effort mais c'est difficile avec un établissement totalement à remettre à neuf. Même les parapluies n'étaient pas en bon état, les serviettes abîmées... le rapport qualité prix très décevant et en dessous de la moyenne. Dommage nous avons terminé notre séjour avec un mauvais choix !

Hôtel en triste état dans un joli cadre
Points positifs : la plage , l’emplacement , la vue , la taille des chambres . MAIS l’hotel est dans un état de délabrement avancé... il doit fermer dans 6 mois : bâches plastiques noires et déchirées sur les toits, peinture de la piscine écaillée, sièges tachés , sets de table repoussants, et mille autres détails qui rendent cet hôtel décevant et en tous cas d’un rapport qualité prix qui l’est encore plus ! Le site internet est mensonger. Le personnel semble totalement démoralisé et tente de pallier aux insuffisances de la direction.

Hôtel sur la plage 🏝 avec un magnifique lieu pour la découverte des poissons 🐠 et aussi des raies .... la Beauté du paysage fait abstraction de l’hotel Vieillissant on était à la chambre 14 qui donne sur la plage quel plaisir , le dîner du soir est servi à table et de bonne qualité , le petit déjeuner est très correct

Gillade: Renlighet, personal och service och rummets bekvämlighet
A strandja kiváló. A tv néha működött, de akkor is csak 10 csatornával (ebből 5 ugyanazt sugározta). Wifi az ígéret ellenére a szobában egyáltalán, a közös helyiségben sem nagyon volt. A széf nem működött (nem is akarták megcsinálni). Törölköző, pohár, stb. hol volt, hol nem. De a fantasztikus természet mindenért kárpótolt.

Great location, that’s it.
Great location and beutiful beach,some og the rooms are practically located on it. The hotel is a bit outdatded and the service is a bit slow.
