“The only positive things about this hotel is it was super inexpensive. $62 with tax and it is right off of Hwy 55, so convenient to the Interstate. I reserved a room with a king bed but no king beds when I checked in, I found a dead bug on the dresser, and the smoke detector was laying on the bed with no battery in it!! Not safe!! “The area is very dangerous and poor condition. Part of the hotel a huge portion is destroyed Hotel is extremely dirty, very rundown, and should not be open. This hotel would not accept credit cards they do not have a computer system or a reservation system Hotels.com should not be associating with hotels in such poor condition. “We did not use the AC. The room was a little worn down. The room was as clean as you can get while rehabbing. Staff was friendly. Looked like they were really trying to stay open to continue the upgrades room by room. Hopefully they continue the job and make it a beautiful place to stay. ”
