âWe stayed at the 1 bedroom suite. It was perfect for a couple like us on a short stay. The view is second to none looking out North of Paihia across to Russell. You can watch the boats, ferries and yachts from the deck as well as from inside the suite. There is no oven, however there are 2 hobs to cook on. The entire unit is pristine and represents excellent value for money.â

â5 Stars â A Perfect Weekend Getaway with Breathtaking Views
My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay over the weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Glennis, Jagger, and Dave, which set the tone for a relaxing and memorable visit.

âI very much enjoyed the time at Breakwater Motel (Paihia), during my stay there (4 nights in the beginning of January 2014).
Paihia may be a turbulent place this time of year, but this hotel is located in a little bit more silent area (still close to the center, which is just a 2-3 minute walk away).
The apartment was comfortably big and had a nice, modern standard & a great ocean view. The personnel was also very kind & helpful.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it).
