“We booked about a month in advance. On the day of our reservation, while travelling up island, we tried calling the hotel several times to ask whether the rooms had mini fridges, but the listed phone number gave us an out-of-service message.
When we arrived, we learned that our room had been given away. The hotel had sent us a message through the Expedia app late that morning saying they had tried to charge the card on file and the payment hadn’t gone through. We checked and couldn’t find any...
