“Nice location, friendly staff and a great restaurang. I'll be back”

“We stayed 3 nights at Voyager and we loved it. We have traveled quite a lot in Africa and this hotel was the best one yet. The room was clean and newly renovated. No bugs. Staff was very helpful. A special thanks to Shadarak who even helped us book our traintickets when our MPesa did not work. Food was delicious. We had the all inclusive package, which included breakfast, lunch, dinner, free drinks and at any time you can order things from the snackbar. Beach is beautiful, with...

“Utsikten mot stranden/havet var fantastisk!”

“Rummen var väldigt stor, kändes mer som en lägenhet än ett hotell rum då det hade spis och massa köks skåp. Men det som ger dåligt betyg är städningen var tyvärr bara bäddat ordentligt. ”

“Rummen var orent och personalen var otrevliga. Det finns vägglöss i de rummen som vi har varit i.”

“Very much they passed all our expectations in every thing, breafast and the restaurant for dinner time, clean room, very friendly staff. Thank you, Ahmed”

“Good location, walking distance to restaurants and malls. Not far from the beach.”

“Would reccommend.”

“The rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was sumptuous. Lots of choices and good service. Excellent front desk staff. The reception area could use a renovation/repaint and some better lighting. Thankfully that is not a requirement for the excellent rooms. The restaurants on the property and the waterside bar are of disappointing quality. This wouldn’t be an issue if there were good restaurants within walking distance. Overall, the hotel is good value. ”

“Kind staff, room service available. Difficult to access, especially with flooding, means walking across wooden planks to get there. WiFi very intermittent and slow.”

“Thank you duncun for being a great host”

“Kom till hotellet, men va tydligen fullbokat. Hade betalt för vistelsen. Men fick boka ett annat boende. Hotels.com fungerar dåligt på vissa platser i Afrika.”

“Sengen var komfortabelt. Ligger ikke sentralt, langt å gå til alle steder. Det er en omvei å gå til stranden, tok mer enn 10 min å gå. Det er ikke hotel, mer som en Airbnb. Det er en leilighet som har prøvd å gjøre om til hotell. ”

“This was the worse experience I have ever had! We checked in on Saturday. Shortly after a few hours, where I discovered there was no hot water and one of the ACs were broken, we lost complete power. After 2 hours of the host asking us to wait in the dark, I decided to leave and check into another hotel. The whole time I was in the dark, the host kept reassuring me, the power would come back on. After leaving the place, the owner refused to give me refund claiming he did not know I left, when I...

“Booked and paid through expedia, made 9 calls to the host without a response while waiting outside the apartments..An hour later, the host called me to say the apartment was double booked...Taken me a few days for my money to be returned. Expedia should ban such hosts that are fraudulent ...This is typical behaviour of hosts in Mombasa who are ruining the tourism industry in the area..”
