This place is a time capsule! In some ways, that's great. It was fun to have a record player (with a cassette deck!) and the kitchen is straight out of the 80's. I admire the upkeep and care it takes to keep kitchen appliances from the 80's functioning and looking good, but they aren't great functionally if you plan on doing a lot of cooking. The oven has a normal size door, but then you open it up and there is some internal mechanism (we joked that it's where you put the coal) taking up half the space, so functionally, it's really small. There are also only 2 burners one small, one large. The microwave is ANALOG, so it's like from the original rollout, lol. My young adult children had no idea how to use it and it was hilarious. We come yearly with families staying in other condos, and different families host dinners on different nights. We were not able to cook at our place for the group due to the small oven (with inconsistent heat that burned half of what we cooked) and limited burners, so had to bring everything to another condo to cook. Something that I find really irritating, but I think has to do more with the management company (Mammoth Reservations) than the owners, are the cheesy and silly limits on laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper and dishwashing tablets. If you are not planning to do a lot of cooking and just need a clean place to sleep and shower, this place is a good option, especially if you have a pet.
