A custom-built, craft-style home sitting just a few steps from the water is situated on 1.5 beautiful acres on the northeastern shore of Lake Cobbosseecontee in Manchester, Maine.

    SUMMER LIVING: Slow down, connect with nature, and find peace and tranquility in the tree-lined back yard. Ducks, loons, and other wildlife are no strangers to this isolated and quiet place. Take a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard to explore the nearby brook for a different perspective of the area. Or enjoy a swim off the dock or rocky shoreline.

    If you’re looking for a more fast-paced and exciting stay, this property also has a dock to moor boats or jet skis. Or utilize the spacious outdoor areas for grilling, games, and entertainment.

    At the house you’ll find private as well as community spaces, hi-speed WIFI, a spacious kitchen, a dedicated work/office space, a game room, stunning views of the water, and multiple porches where you can witness the best of life on the lake, and the captivating beauty of Maine’s sunrises and sunsets.

Spend some time cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, snowmobiling, or ice-fishing. Or enjoy the soft and quiet serenity of falling snow and peaceful walks through local hiking areas.

The house was amazing just as it was last year! The kitchen was fully stocked and had almost everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal, and the house was just perfection. Our family had a wonderful holiday along with the beautiful view! Dan was so wonderful and we will definitely be back!

Amazing spot and home base for our wedding weekend!

This house was amazing, we stayed here with our large group of friends during our wedding weekend as it was located less than 10 mins from our venue. This house was set up with large groups in mind, everything was so thoughtful and immaculate and all of our needs were met. With so many different activities during downtime, between the lake, kayaks, and game room, everyone had a blast. We recommend this place!

Family Reunion

Beautiful property and the property manager Dan went out of his way to make it a great week. Plenty of rooms/beds for our large group of 16. The kitchen was well stocked with everything, so many extra touches to make it comfortable. Comfortable beds and pillows. The game room and gym were a huge bonus and best of all the fishing was great.

Great winter weekend on the lake

The house was so much more than we expected. The shared living spaces were great to watch movies and play games together. We were able to have a fire outside while others skated on the lake. Great bed rooms to ensure everyone felt comfortable and had their own space.

Thanksgiving with Family

We decided to book this beautiful property to bring our family together for a long weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving together for our first holiday since the passing of our father. This was the perfect spot! The house accommodated all 12 of us easily with plenty of space for more! The hope décor is perfection and the views are priceless! The days we spent there with filled with tears and laughter and reliving fond memories while making new memories. Dan was absolutely wonderful to deal with from start to finish and communication was top notch! We definitely recommend this beautiful home and would love to book again in the future.

Family getaway

We loved the spaces for our multigenerational get together. We had 10 teens aged 16-21, parents and grandparents. There was private space for everyone to enjoy. The private cottage was great for the teen girls; we enjoyed the workout space (which was a renovated garage space); biking trails were close by for off road biking for some of the boys. We also enjoyed nearby Gardiner and Hallowell (10min) for the cute antique shops, hiking, and quintessential Maine stores and restaurants. Only downsides, which were minor, are that the water was shallow by the dock (some places you can feel the lake grass while swimming) and we could have used more covered deck space outside with the amount of people we had.

Amazing property! Awesome stay!

There were 15 in our party. The check-in process was easy, and Dan answered any questions that we had. The property was the cleanest that we've seen, and we have rented many properties over the past 20 years. Also, there was plenty of room for all of us. There was something to do for everyone! The fishing was great, and the kids had a blast on the kayaks! The location was good as well. We went to Freeport one day and Bar Harbor the next. Truly a great property for a large family! I highly recommend it!

Weekend get away.

The stay that 14 of my close friends and I had here at the house exceeded all expectations. The house is beautiful and along with the entire property, it was perfect for our stay. We were able to sleep a large group of friends, the property is very fun. The grill and picnic area is perfect for lawn games and having dinner out back. Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great time on a beautiful lake. Doesn’t get much better. Dan the property manager is amazing snd easy to contact in the process of renting the property. Very easy to get along with and extremely helpful, he showed us the entire property before settling in.

Beautiful property, each room is tastefully decorated, the cottage is adorable and private! We brought our boat and used the dock, it was ideal. Dan the property manager is AMAZING. Anything we asked for, he made it happen within 30 minutes. I would 10000% rent through him again. The house was amazing, huge, room for everyone. We had 14 people and we had extra beds. Don’t want to leave out the landscaping too….felt like I was in a private resort. Definitely recommend, and I am a picky renter.

Wedding Weekend

We rented the house for the bridal party and both families - for a wedding at a nearby venue. The house was spectacular and Dan was so accommodating. It had absolutely stunning views and plenty of room for everyone. Something for everyone from the game room to the workout room to the views and sitting areas. There was only one issue - we just didn’t have enough downtime at the house over a very busy wedding weekend! Already talking about coming back in the future for a reunion with the bridal party so we can simply enjoy each other at this beautiful home.
