âWhat we didnât like on Saturday night from 5-8 they closed the pool and my grandsons were looking forward to the pool after being at the beach and wanted to swim. We were very disappointed. They said they were filming for a promotion but why in a Saturday during prime time? â
âThe young lady that checked us into our room was so friendly and professional. She gave us information about all of the food and entertainment options that were close by as well as informed about all the perks of the hotel. She answered all of our questions and she wore a smile the entire time. It was very welcoming!â

âThe room was nice and the location was great, close to both beach and the main shopping street. However, it was also close to the Amtrak rail where the trains signaled loudly at all hours (albeit only every two hours or so since it is Amtrak). Breakfast was served on paper plates which suited us fine but didnât exactly give off an air of luxury. Lovely staff though, helpful with directions and with giving me a bag when I wanted to carry the breakfast up to our room. â

âMy first time ever staying here in this hotel. And let me say I loved it. I would totally stay here again when I come down on my next vacation. A little pricey but the rooms are clean and nice. Loved that thereâs a gym open 24 hours and the pool opened til 10pm. Great service, the staff were amazing. The food was good !! I would 100% recommend to stay here :)â
âWell, not about the property itself so much. But I very much appreciated your staff's patience with my bringing the food I had brought from home so that I could join my family that we flew in to see at breakfast. (I didn't know in advance they would be having breakfast in the restaurant.)â
âNice rooms. Newer AC (low sound and good working). Close to the Ventura beach. Large, nice, tidy and well-planned room. Both Micro and cooler. Pool was OK. Continental breakfast OK (despite rebuilding of dining room that the personal apologized for)â
