âGreat venue - what you see is what you get. There are things to improve on, a fridge in the room would be most wanted rather than a communal one on each floor after all itâs hot in the Philippines and you want a cold drink at night. Pool fantastic, staff fantastic and overall an 8.5 out of 10. Breakfast a little basic but the cafe behind does fantastic Filipino cuisine. Itâs like an Ibis or your basic Novotel â
âA hotel in very poor condition. Hardly no water and didnât feel fresh. Beachfront but no access to the water. Long walk to the restaurants. Only positive was the price and friendly staff. I guess you get what you pay for. â
âWe highly recommend the Hotel Palwa. Our third-floor room was in great condition: mattress and pillows were comfortable, Wi-Fi, shower, toilet, AC all worked very well. The hotel room was quiet, yet it is easily within walkable distance to downtown attractions. As a side note, there is a small bakery directly south, across the street, which serves the best cinnamon rolls Iâve ever had!

It's just by the road, which means noise from the traffic. But here's the kicker, the AC noise drowned all other noises and me personally, I have easier to sleep with with a constant humming than honking, mopeds end trucks at random. â
