It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers. ”

“This hotel is great! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is VERY close to a more or less private part of the beach and there are showers at the bottom of the hotel, so you can clean yourself off before you get back in. The rooms are nice and reasonably sized and you are able to watch the sunset if your room faces the beach.”

“As an older hotel, it has a few cosmetic things but nothing major. Very quiet but also off season- great rate!! We had an issue with the blow dryer which was taken care of very quickly by maintenance. Enjoyed our stay”
