“We enjoyed our stay at Jardin over Christmas. The room was perfectly sized for two people. We appreciated the air conditioning at night and the bed was comfortable. “The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. “Nice facility and well kept place, including the cleaning. We got the impression that all of the budget is spent on decorations, maintaining the facility and gardens. Yet the feeling is not good at all. The level of service is below average and the food feels like it is on a tight budget as well. “We really loved this little hotel which felt very private. It was probably the nicest place we stayed in during our travels in Costa Rica. Located in the quieter area of Manuel Antonio but still close to to everything. The property is very clean, well kept and beautiful and has very few rooms. We especially loved the pool and bar/restaurant area. There are at least four iguanas living at the property which we loved. We were also visited by tons of monkeys, agutis, basilisks and different birds...
