The Space:

Forest Haven is an inviting two-story, 2,500-square-foot home on a quiet, dead-end street in beautiful Manzanita, Oregon. It is the perfect retreat for those wishing for solitude but not overly remote. A short 3-minute stroll down the street takes you to the picturesque seven mile beach in one direction, or head just 2 blocks North to Manzanita's charming main street, Laneda Avenue. The combination of unimposing decor and laid back furnishings in this small town setting provide a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere perfect for families and couples alike looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.



Enjoy abundant light and an airy, open floor plan, with the home's main level being an ideal place for entertaining friends and family. The living room offers an alluring seating space with multiple couches. Sink into the comfortable living room and start watching your favorite shows on the 52-inch LED flatscreen TV. Browse through the home's DVD collection and pop in a movie for ample entertainment. For the chefs in your group, the fully equipped kitchen and large island will be a dream come true. This kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and more. The bar seats two, and the dining table can seat up to 8 people.



The spacious primary bedroom has a plush king bed, a walk-in closet (that can be used as a nursery room, big enough for a pack n' play), and a full en-suite bathroom. Across the hallway is the second bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom nearby.

Next to the living room is a family room with a game/puzzle table and a kitchenette stocked with extra dishes, a coffee maker, and more! Nearby are another queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twin beds. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower nearby.



Maximize family fun in the upstairs loft area by playing a game of pool on the impressive vintage pool table. Lounge on the vintage furniture, read a great book, or even use the full-size futon for afternoon naps. Inside the garage is a wagon to haul your items to the beach. The garage is for renter use and houses the second fridge/freezer.



The large front deck makes an excellent place for barbecuing, lounging in the sun, and enjoying time with friends and family.

The Neighborhood:

Forest Haven is one block to town and a couple blocks to the beach. The house is located at the end of a dead end so you have safety with not much traffic when the kids are playing outside.



Getting Around:

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.



Interaction with Guests:

We will interact as little or as much as the guest likes.

After booking, all our guests will get an after hours/emergency phone number to call if needed too.
