“I have very high expectations when deciding on a vacation rental. Unfortunately, it seems, I need to lower my expectations to avoid disappointment. I discovered that the indoor pool and hot tub was closed.(I traveled 500 miles there for my vacation) I was informed only after finding the door locked with a note on it, then inquiring at the front desk was told it was scheduled for maintenance, which had been planned for some time, and would not be accessible for at least a week. “Unique cottages, extraordinarily well-appointed for extended stay. Lovely helpful staff that anticipated guest needs (like suggesting what to do when the weather wasn’t beach-cooperative). Would stay again, for longer.”
