Nice house for our group
House was nice and fit the 3 couples well. Needed a few more hangers and toilet paper as ended having to buy our own. Overall it was a great stay, easy to find and get around.

Wonderful location, but not very clean home
The check in process was so easy, and the property owner was great. With that said, when myself and my family arrived to the property, it was very clear that it had not been cleaned properly, and it hadn’t been cleaned properly for quite some time. There was food in the cushions of the dining chairs, dust and food crumbs under the couches and tables, stains on the sheets and quilts in all the bedrooms, along with what appeared to be black dog hair on the sheets. There were dirty towels hanging on the door in one of the bathrooms. Outside but the pool, there was beer cans and cups lodged in the pool skimmer, food and stains on the bench by the outdoor table, and many of the chairs were broken and cracked. The kayaks were filthy and needed to be rinsed before we could use them, and the bikes were all locked together with the neighbors (so it was unclear which bikes we were able to use and we had to ask the neighbors for the code for the lock) With all that said, we did enjoy our stay here (how could you not, being in the Florida keys!) but it was very disappointing to pay so much money for a house that was just not clean. The owner explained that she works with a company who manages the property and she would be speaking with them, but I can’t imagine how we are the only people to complain. Myself and my family aren’t complainers, we are very easy going and easy to please but this house was just not taken care of properly at all, and I hope the owner did in fact speak with the cleaning company and get it taken care of. Also, if you don’t like sleeping with a quilt, I suggest bringing a blanket along. The quilts aren’t very cozy or warm and that’s all that is available to sleep with aside from a top sheet.

A little piece of tropical heaven
My husband and I, adult kids, and grandbabies, visited for a relaxing getaway. The property was just what we needed-the location, the size and layout were perfect, and we loved the pool and the dock. Rented a boat and enjoyed cruising the canals and in the ocean. The breeze off the ocean kept us cool and the mosquitoes away at night. The master suite on the second floor was amazingly quiet! Will definitely consider staying here again next year!

Awesome location. Awesome house. The house keepers were way behind when we arrived and didn’t do the best job cleaning the house. The dock bumpers need to be worked on really bad glad we brought ours with our boat. Pool was really nice. Overall it was a great experience and we will return for vacation again.

Saved vacation
This property saved our vacation. We relocated to Relax Away after 1 night in a totally misrepresented property through a different booking app. Relax Away was true to pictures and description. The location is extremely convenient with easy access to Sombrero beach, Publix, and restaurants. The added perks of bikes, kayaks, pool, etc made it a wonderful week for my family. My compliments to the property owner and manager for making the the entire process easy and true to description.

Vacation Review
The property was beautiful and the location was wonderful. Overall, our stay was good. The only issue is had was the pool turned green on our third day there. The pool guy tried blaming us saying we got in the pool after being in the saltwater, yet we never got in the saltwater the first few days of our trip due to rough water. The property manager was quick to respond and solve the issue. I would stay here again in the future.

Absolutely loved it
We had a great week at Relax Away! The area is just perfect. We loved the back path and rode the bikes the mile and a half to Sombrero Beach a couple times. The beach itself is small, with a very nice kids play area and nice bathrooms. There is no food or drinks to purchase at the beach. We used the kayaks as well. The life jackets are ahared between the two condo’s, which we did not know until the last day, so we may have went out more times had we known that. The condo is a bit challenging to go up and down the stairs for the elderly. There is no first level access. There were 4 bikes and 3 kayaks to use and about 5-6 fishing poles. But beware, the fishing poles were unusable. They did not have reels. I was told there were poles (after asking specifically about them to use) and was told there were poles. But when we got there, we noticed they were all missing reels. We purchased 4 poles which set us back some $$, so the boys in our group could fish. The pool does not have a skimming net, so bring one if bugs, leaves, grass clippings etc bother you. The pool was cleaned on our last day. The pool is very small, but it is heated and it served its purpose! The house itself had everything we needed for our stay. My dad enjoyed the recliners. The ladies enjoyed the deck. My kids mastered the ring game. It is a great house with all the things you need! We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing vacation with relax away!
This home has everything you need to have an amazing vacation for a weekend or 2 months! The pictures do not do this house and amenities justice. It is a beautiful home with a great heated pool that was great for our little one and we quite enjoyed it! You are right on the canal for water fun and very close to sombrero beach, groceries and nature trails. We had everything we needed and more!

Welcome 2021!
We had a wonderful week relaxing in the sun. After a situation with the front door was immediately resolved our vacation began in the private pool (which we opted to heat and were glad we did), kayaking and fishing from the dock. There were also bikes which we rode to the beach. Sombrero beach is beautiful and a distance away. Iguanas visited daily and a manatee came one afternoon. The brand new grill was a real bonus. We ate in for all meals but 2 lunches: at the Sunset Grille on Marathon and at Alonzos in Key West. Marathon is a perfect base camp. We went to Key West one day. Felt very safe as masks were required even outdoors. One day we did the Dolphin Encounter. It was a great experience for the grandkids. And one day, we went charter boat fishing. We had 9 red snapper for dinner that night. We were a 3 generation group of 4 adults, 2 teens girls and a 12 YO boy. We had a great family New Year's Eve party. The house was beautifully appointed and very clean. The photos and description were accurate. Relax Away was very easy to work with and always responsive. In COVID times, this house was perfect for our getaway needs.

Perfect for our family Christmas vacation.
This property served us well. Plenty of space for my family of 8. We stayed during a cold snap so we didn't get to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked. The kayaks and bikes were great to have use of. The location was perfect with the grocery store and a Walgreens close by and the beach, which had amazing snorkeling, was just a short bike ride away. The electricity went out in the community for approximately 15 minutes one evening during dinner and we were very thankful for the emergency lighting installed in the house.

Memorable family vacation
We had an amazing time staying at this property. It is centrally located to the Keys and had groceries stores, pharmacies, activities, and wonderful restaurants within a few miles. The owner was great to work with and was always available for questions before and during our stay. The property is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Lastly, the pool - although small - is perfect for the hot and humid afternoons and evenings!

First time in Florida
The house was great. We were all very comfortable. The only negatives for us was when we read the description of the property, we thought the pool was heated and that the place had 2 kayaks and paddle boards. No heated pool and no kayaks or stand up paddle boards. The weather was a little cool and windy (beginning of March) which is not the owners fault, but the heated pool would've been nice.

Great for our family get together!
This was a family get together and it worked out very well for us. As we had our kids and 2 grand-children. Was easy to BBQ and enjoy the pool. The sites to visit were all pretty close. We even had a sighting of a Manatee off the deck. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Fabulous, comfortable home with lovely touches
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. After prompt attention by the owner to a hiccup on arrival, we had a great stay. (The house cleaners had forgotten to come and clean the house...thankfully they were available to come immediately and they also gave us $100 towards happy hour for our trouble. We waited poolside while they cleaned, enjoying the warm evening weather and the kids went swimming.) The house itself is nicer than average, and it was very comfortable for our group of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids) and our many shared meals. The kitchen has everything we needed except a few cookie sheet pans (for making bacon for breakfast and roasting veg for dinners), so we picked up some disposable ones from Publix nearby. We ate most meals downstairs by the gas grill on the covered patio; some in our group enjoyed a few games of bean bag toss/corn hole, one member of our group went kayaking off the dock with the kids, we spotted manatees and pelicans in the canal, watched football inside, and rented bikes to ride to an from the beach. (Kayak and bikes came from Wheels-2-Go, which is nearby but they delivered/picked up from the house.) We appreciated the extras like pool towels, beach chairs, a few board games, the washer & dryer, WiFi and satellite (cable?) TV, sand toys, and a hammock at the house. (Fishing poles were available but didn’t get used by our group this time.) The deck off the main floor was a favorite spot for many of us! Sombrero Beach is one of the nicest we have experienced in the Keys. If we come back to this area, we absolutely will stay here again! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Paradise
We really enjoyed this rental. Great location for a fisherman or a diver. We either caught lobster, mahi or snapper everyday and this was all available within a short run from the property.

A home away from home
I am always concerned that listings will not be what the advertise to be. This listing was exactly as described and even more. We felt as though we were home. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed he pool and the friendly iguanas that came by. The house was very clean and had everything you needed and more. We hope to return next year.

Like a resort but with your own house
the area is great because all of the houses are very similar on that street, we made friends with neighbors on both sides. Everyone shared daily weather reports fishing updates etc. The house is new construction so everything is clean and well taken care of. Definitely will be going back next year. We share the house with a family and between us there were seven people so plenty of room. There's a great sandbar just out of the entrance at sombrero Beach And there's plenty of access to both the Oceanside and Bayside waterways.

Beautiful home
This was perfect for 5 girls getaway plenty of room the house is in a great location close to everything Publix, Kmart, Winn Dixie and lots of shops and local restaurants and bars! We had several iguanas that hung out in the yard they were pretty cool, the only thing I can think was missing is a full length mirror would be nice and If you have a bad back bring a mattress topper for the beds I think it would help. It was clean, quiet and very comfortable would definitely stay again and recommend it to all. Thank you 😊

Just what we needed!
Everything about our stay was seamless. From the check in to the day we left. We Found that we had everything we could possibly need for our family of five. The house was beautiful and well equipped. The kids had a blast in the pool. The location is perfect for exploring the keys while still being close enough to return and have time to relax by the pool. We didn’t have any issues arise during our stay. Jackie graciously welcomed us and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again in the future.

Paradise
Wonderful location! Everything we needed was available. Home was clean and new. The pool and dock provided entertainment. The home was located close to shopping and not far from the beach. Sombrero Beach was fabulous! I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a close location to paradise!!!

Perfect!
The house was absolutely amazing.Exactly as advertised. Our family had the best time. The house was clean, spacious and in the perfect location. Sombrero Beach was within walking distance and made for nice morning walks. Beautiful views from the dock, perfect for boat owners and fishermen. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful condo in great location
We were a group of 3 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room and the amenities were great. Sombrero Beach is just down the street and the condo is centrally located on the island so it’s easy to get anywhere.
