“We found this hotel had very helpful staff. Our room was out of kleenex, I mentioned this to someone at the front desk and they resolved the problem very quickly. They had free meals, which were good. We ate dinner and breakfast. We were not familiar with the downtown Milwaukee area, so thanks to GPS we located the hotel. We had tickets to the Milwaukee Rep, so was able to walk to the theatre. It was a pleasant experience.”

“It's a fabulous old building converted into a great place to stay. High ceilings and stylish design everywhere made it a very comfortable and cosy place to stay. The bed was amazingly comfortable. It's in a great location as well! I plan to stay here again when I'm back in Milwaukee!!”

“The hotel is in a great location. Cute atmosphere and has a bar for a nightcap before heading to bed. The front desk helped assure that I had a room waiting after I cancelled and re-scheduled rooms. We arrived at the hotel at midnight and we were assisted with getting room keys by cleaning staff and bar keepers. Very nice cozy place.”

“There is a bar in the building that is loud until midnight. The parking fee was higher than the site warranted. The sofa couch was not suitable for any over 5' tall. It all depends on the room you get in terms of the experience. I would not stay there again, as it was more costly and had little to recommend it. No microwave in the room. Fridge froze my food overnight, making it useless and uneatable. NOT appropriate if you cannot walk up steps easily. I think a regular hotel room would have...

“Great drinks clean room!!! Great staff!!”

“Poor service from the personnel. Service level lower than what I'm used to in Europe. Even though a beautiful and cool hotel, it's not modern. No USB ports in the rooms so bring a plug. The sound level in the room is really loud, 40 dB measured with my phone (comes from refrigerator, ventilation, AC). Sounds from other rooms and the hallway is really clear.”
