Tyvärr är ön till stor del som en soptipp. Skräp överallt. ”ATM” som finns på ön är ett skämt! se till att ha med tillräckligt med kontanter för mat och aktiviteter om du inte vill betala överpris på kontantuttag eller på korttransaktioner.”

“Kitchen needs help, with watery eggs, uncooked pancakes and you eat the complete from the chicken! Service was great thou, very helpful. Charging 350 000 for a taxi for 30km's to Lembar is a robbery, we took a bemo for 30 000 instead. You can swim right off the beach outside, a big plus and they keep the beach clean. Also free water refill, makes the stay better... ”

“We stayed at Vayam, Gili Asaham for 8 nights in mid-April 2026 in room N.1. It was our second stay on the island, and it was very pleasant and relaxed. The room was comfortable with air conditioning and a king-size bed. Everything worked properly. “This little remote, hideaway boutique style hotel is almost amazing - it already is in so many ways - views stunning, watching the sunset by the pool, on the beach! The villas could do with a little upkeep- but definitely not a negative, the doors don’t fully shut and while the outdoor shower is a nice touch it also lets the mossies into the villa (and our shower didn’t work) - mosquito nets would be a great idea as we got eaten alive even with repellent - the pool is too good to miss and the...
