âThis is me and my wife's favorite place to stay when we want a staycation. The mixologist on staff is amazing (if you are into mixed drinks), and the hotel is so close to many of our favorite restaurants in the area. So walkable, yet off the beaten path. As a lover of books, getting to take books home is a bonus. We stay here at least 2 times a year.â
âThe Hampton Inn Alexandria hotel has a great location -- walking distance to shops, restaurants, the waterfront, and the metro train station. The free trolley stops right in front of the hotel and has numerous stops all along King Street. The hotel was always clean and well maintained, and their free breakfast offered several nice options. âThere are some outdated elements of this property but we would definitely stay again. The staff is friendly, helpful, and responsive. We needed clean towels and they were delivered within 10 minutes. Vondella, a manager on duty, was incredible. She went out of her way to help us navigate transportation and local events. â

âI enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming upon arrival. I wish I wouldâve noticed that you had to pay for parking even thought they give you 50% off. I wouldâve chose another place.
THE MICROWAVES HAVE LOCKS ON THEM. For some odd reason I left my food in there after checking out because I wasnât aware.
