Does not worth the money
The location of the cottage is great. Stayed with our family and friends. Contains 2 renovated clean bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The place has a lot of cons. The living room is really spacious, but does not have any AC. We had to open windows which do not have mosquito screens (there are a lot of mosquito). There is no dining table too. The recreation room has plenty of games (tennis, table soccer, mini basketball), but everything looks so neglected and damaged. But in general, the house is relatively clean. Outdoor amenities have many problems as well. There is a canopy beside the building, the pillows for the outdoor sofa under that canopy were scattered on the deck and wet. There are 2 grills, one is a regular propane grill and the other is a flat griddle grill. This is the part that disappointed the most. The flat surface grill is ok, but it was dirty and rusty. The other grill, we decided to cook on, it was so nasty. It was not cleaned at all and had a bad smell, we had to go to the hardware store to buy some cleaner, cleaning tools, and some grill mats. After we cleaned the grill we discovered that it misses a couple of screws and it is basically moving. Moreover, the propane tank was empty and we had to go to the Esso gas station to exchange it. The kayaks were filled with rainwater and leaves. The gear for them is all scattered under the deck. This cottage has a lot of potential. But for now, it just does not worth the money that the owner asks.
