Big Bear Micro Cabin with loft at Spotted Bear Retreat

Enjoy comfortable king size bed in a studio layout, kitchenette including microwave and single burner cooktop, ladder access to a cozy, small loft with a double bed. This sweet micro cabin is only 10 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Located in Martin City, MT, it's just a short 5 mile drive to Hungry Horse Reservoir and very close to many other fun local attractions and dining.

*Warning! Loft has a low ceiling and access is very steep, use with caution!

*Note! Due to space constraints in the micro cabin the shower is smaller than average.

We loved staying in the Big Bear Micro Cabin. Yes, the shower and sink were very small but we knew that ahead of time and it didn't make the cabin any less enjoyable. The king sized bed was super comfy!!! We used the grill and the hot plate for cooking outside which was very convenient after a long day in the park. The park entrance is just a short ride away and we loved everything about the park except the difficulty finding parking spaces near all the popular hiking trails. We especially loved the Avalanche Lake trail and the Hidden Lake trail! Everything about the area is just beautiful. If we ever get to come back again I would definitely stay int he Big Bear Micro Cabin again!

Immaculately clean and well supplied. Great location in a quiet area--10 minutes from GNP. The bed was very comfortable! Owner was very responsive and helpful.The only other thing we would have liked was extra wash cloths!

We stayed here for a couple nights as our jumping off point to the west of side of Glacier NP. Easy drive to park entrance, as well as to surrounding communities and Kalispell airport. Cabin as pictured in listing. Was clean and comfortable. Excellent host communication. Of note, in case you’re a very tall person, the bathroom ceiling, including in the shower, is on the low side. At 6’1” and 5’10” we were fine, but just take note that you might be ducking if you’re a few inches taller than that. It fit our needs perfectly tho and we’d stay here again.

Close to the park!

This was perfect for us going to Glacier National Park. Great for 2 people. Only reason we are giving 4 stars is because we hit our head on the door frame inside as well as hit the shelf by the bed just because the space is small. It’s cozy and perfect for a couple of nights in this area though!

Incredibly clean and such a nice, cozy setup. Located close to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. Owner provided everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including clean dishes. Netflix provided if you wanted to settle down before bed. Friendly owner/host.

Lovely, clean, and quiet

We had an awesome time staying at this property. Check in was easy, the house matched the description, and you can’t beat the short drive to Glacier. I was really impressed with John’s communication and he even left us some firewood at our request. This is a perfect place to stay if you want comfort, quiet, and proximity to Glacier. Highly recommended!

The cabin had everything we needed to make our own meals. BBQ grill was nice to use. There is no dresser, so we used the stairs as shelves for our clothes. The bathroom sink area is very small, but we brought a hanging shoe rack to store our toiletries. Worked out perfectly for my husband and I.

Great little cabin

Very neat and clean; everything worked great. Guests might want to know that there is not seating inside other than on the bed. We had a very comfortable time there!
