  • Fantastisk utsikt över bergen och floden. Vårt hem förser dig med allt det väsentliga att vara hemifrån. Inom gångavstånd till restauranger och historiska centrum. Parkering för 2 fordon framför det finns också extra parkering utanför Jefferson St. Allmän parkering 1 kvarter bort. Hemmet består av två däck med underbar utsikt. Stort kök, stort matsal, 2 vardagsrum. Hemmet är barnvänligt. Husdjur från fall till fall.

The house was very clean and had a nice view of the mountains. There was plenty of room for our group of 5 to relax and reconnect in between exploring the historic town of Harper’s Ferry. We found everything we needed to cook with in the well equipped kitchen. And Desiree was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to the area.

We thought it was a great property, beautiful views off the deck and spacious for the 5 of us. The host was responsive, helpful and friendly. You could probably walk to downtown Harpers Ferry and the Maryland Heights trail but we chose to drive down closer and park.

The home was perfect for our group (two adults and three teens), and Desiree was a warm and wonderful host! We enjoyed the gorgeous view from the deck, the comfortable beds, and the fully equipped kitchen. I also especially appreciated the excellent communication from Desiree - she was very fast to respond to questions and provided several helpful suggestions. Highly recommend!

Perfect Helpers Ferry Getaway

Location was in a small quiet neighborhood right outside of downtown Harper's ferry. Was very clean and host was extremely responsive to our questions. Would absolutely go again!

Our Holiday Get Together

Very nice property. We were able to visit and play games. Centrally located and easy to get to. Long walk to downtown, but it was doable. We had a great time.

Well equipped and clean home for a family of 4! Everything needed for meal prep was available. Nice deck/ patio for relaxing. 1 mile walk to town if you’re in shape… steep hills but beautiful town. My only “beware” is if you have ATT for your cellular carrier. I was not able to make or receive calls unless I walked up the hill a few houses in the neighborhood. I was on vacation so I didn’t care. WiFi was excellent though and communication with owner was easy and pleasant. Would stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Stay

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, great location, and the perfect number of beds and baths. The house is only a few minutes from town and only about five minutes from gas and Walmart. The house was super clean, and Desiree was so easy to communicate with anytime we had questions. Would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Harpers Ferry.

Great Home!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Awesome view from the balconies. Very clean home. Only about 10 minutes walk to some restaurants and one edge of the river (where you can start some hikes). It was further to Harpers Ferry itself, but we walked it a few times. Great WiFi. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stay here.

Perfect home away from home

Desiree's home was a lovely place to cool off after a long hot day of walking around Harper's Ferry. My sisters and I spent three lovely evenings sitting together in the comfortable living room, talking and enjoying the view of the mountains. All four bedrooms were clean and neat and gave all four of us good nights sleep. Desiree made us feel welcome right away. I highly recommend!

Lovely condo with so much room!

We loved that there were 4 bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. It was a bit of a walk to town for 4 ladies in their 60s, so we ended up driving. Found parking on a Thursday evening but Saturday was definitely “tourist” day. We really enjoyed the barn (short walk) and the Scottish festival in a town nearby. Loved that the owner was so involved in the community!! Thanks Desiree!!

Gone fishing

My grown siblings and I planned a mini reunion fishing trip over Labor Day weekend. The place was perfect! Each of us had our own bedroom and bath. The beds are very comfortable, the place is well appointed and the layout of the home allows for space to gather. And the views are spectacular. And so close to town and everything. The host could not have been nicer and provided so many great suggestions for restaurants and local points of interest of which there are many. We fished the Potomac and the Shenandoah Rivers - great fishing. Great experience and beautiful scenery. This was the perfect place to come back to and relax.

Good base

The property had more than enough space for our family of 5. It was in a great neighborhood, which was located very conveniently to the various trails of the National Park (5mins drive) and the wineries of Virginia (15mins drive). There were a handful of cute restaurants/cafes within walking distance. If you're in great shape (and its not a heatwave), the historic town of Harper's Ferry and all its shops and restaurants are about a mile away. The property is as described. Host is very responsive. For awareness, the home appears to be lived in fulltime when not rented out; mentioning in case that's a dealbreaker for folks.

Convenient to trails and historic Harpers Ferry (~ 1.1mi)

Nice stay at this townhome. It’s was close to where we wanted to be. Good for a weekend getaway so we can check out the historic Harpers Ferry area and do some hiking on the nearby trails. The kitchen was stocked with the cups, plates, utensils water kettle, keurig machine…all that we needed. The 2 parking spaces in front of the house were convenient, and the view from the windows was beautiful. I wish one of the rooms had two twin beds for the kids, but otherwise the house was what we needed. Thanks!

Attentive

Desiree was very quick to respond to all messages prior to our trip. While there she checked on us to see if we needed anything and gave us suggestions where to go visit. We even got to meet her while out one night. She was very sweet! 10 out of 10.
