The Space:
Villa Murat is located in the ancient village of Annunziata above Massa Lubrense, among Mediterranean paths, houses with typical vaulted roofs and magnificent belvederes.

Today the villa has been renovated and still preserves some antique pieces, frescoed ceilings and some relics.

Villa Murat stands out between the enchantment of the island of Capri, Ischia, Procida, and the suggestion of history. Suspended between the poetry of the enchanting seascape and the echoes of a significant page of 19th-century history: in October 1808, the Villa was chosen by the king of Naples, Gioacchino Murat, as the headquarters from which he controlled the siege and reconquest of Capri, then occupied by the English, allies of the Bourbons. The King of Naples chose this place because, he had confided to his generals, that he was able to have a better view of the entire sea that embraces Capri, thus being able to follow the evolution of the battle in real time.

Villa Murat spans two levels, each floor meticulously designed to blend historical charm with luxurious comfort.

Ground Floor

Elegant Living Area: Enter through the main entrance into a spacious living area adorned with Italian antiques and plush sofas, creating an inviting and unique ambiance.

Bedrooms: To the left, a double bedroom with vaulted ceilings, antique majolica floors, and an en-suite bathroom opens to a private terrace with sea views. To the right, a second double bedroom boasts classic décor, light-filled windows, and an en-suite bathroom, both bedrooms are connected.

First Floor

Classic-Style Living Area: Ascend the grand marble staircase to the first floor, where a classic living area with vaulted ceilings and collection pieces awaits.

Studio and Intimate Lounge: A cozy study and an intimate lounge area include a bathroom with a shower, service bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with terrace access.

Bedrooms and Dining Area: The first floor offers two elegantly furnished double bedrooms and one double bedroom with twin beds, all featuring vaulted ceilings and fine decor. A spacious dining area with views over the Gulf of Naples opens onto a terrace, providing an idyllic spot for al fresco dining and gatherings.

Air conditioning is available in all rooms and living areas.



Outdoor Spaces

Villa Murat’s outdoor areas are designed for relaxation and enjoyment, featuring breathtaking views and a connection to the natural beauty of the Mediterranean landscape.

Terraces and Gardens: The terraces surrounding the property are furnished for lounging and dining, offering views over the sea and islands. Mediterranean gardens filled with pine and olive trees provide a tranquil space to unwind.

Private Pool and Sun Lounging Area: The swimming pool area is furnished with sun loungers and deck chairs, set against the backdrop of the sea and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a serene atmosphere for soaking up the sun.

Pool Heating: Available upon request, pool heating is offered from 1st April to June 15th and from September 15th -1 st November 15th, with the temperature set at a maximum temperature of around 27°C. Please inform staff if you would like the pool heated during your stay.
