La Casa di Nonna Isola is located on the outskirts of the picturesque medieval village of Prata,
a hamlet of Massa Marittima (GR), in the heart of Tuscany’s Metalliferous Hills, just 25 minutes from the sea at Follonica. The spectacular panoramic view stretches across the surrounding countryside all the way to the sea. In fact, on clear days, you can see the sea of the Gulf of Follonica, the Island of Elba, and the surrounding islets of the Tuscan Archipelago from the house. La Casa di Nonna Isola has recently been completely renovated, preserving the typical Tuscan style of the area—featuring exposed wooden beams, arches, and terracotta and wood floors—while adding modern improvements and amenities.
Inside, it features an open-concept kitchen connected via a large archway to a living room that includes a two-person sofa bed and a pouf bed. This room leads to a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a window.
The sleeping area consists of a master bedroom with a fold-out bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower.
The house is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, mosquito screens on all windows, and
Wi-Fi internet.
Guests will have exclusive use of all the
outdoor spaces, which include:
- a spacious dining terrace of approximately 35 square meters with a canopy, a wooden table and chairs, a barbecue, and a stone sink;
- a private, fully fenced garden with outdoor furniture such as lounge chairs, a table and
chairs, and a beach umbrella
- a private 5x3x1.20-meter pool with a relaxation area featuring lounge chairs by the
poolside and a gazebo.
From every level, including the pool, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view
of the surrounding hills and countryside stretching all the way to the sea.
