Centrally located and walking distance to everything in Matlacha. The space
Our mini villa has so much history, love and wonderful memories. People come back year after year to renew, relax, and bring joy from this amazing community and aquatic wildlife at thier fingertips. For those looking to work remotely we provide highest speed internet available with Xfinity and 2 Roku TV’s. The dining nook is perfect for working remotely with amazing water views. The kitchen has wonderful Brazilian quartzite mimicking our shoreline. Every detail of this property shows high end craftsmanship. Recently gutted and remodeled from the studs by a local craftsman artist. We highly recommend you bringing your own kayaks or renting from Gulf Coast Kayaks. A small shallow boat might be able to be docked at our cement pad but we have not tried it yet.

This unit is next to an efficiency unit which can be rented in combination. Please message us to check availability if you would like to rent the entire cottage.

Fishing, dolphin watching, and bird watching is highly recommended off the dock. Swimming is not! Take a day trip to Costa Maya from Pine Island for the best beach in the US! There are other amazing beach options from ferries and tours leaving Pine Island and Matlacha.

We want everyone to have a wonderful experience at our property so please only kayak if you have previous experience and wear water shoes as oysters love to grow everywhere near the sea wall. We highly recommend you bringing your own kayaks or renting from Gulf Coast Kayaks.

The dock was unfortunately destroyed from Hurricane Ian. We are hoping to have it replaced in the future. Our patio space is shared with the other Matlacha Cottages and also a "use at your own risk amenity". Because we are on these beautiful open waters we must disclose this insurance verbiage. Thank you for understanding. :)

Villa guests park in the Villa carport. There is enough room for two vehicles.

We will occasionally accommodate your fur babies. We expect to know beforehand if you are requesting permission to bring your pet. $90 Pet fee per pet apply and cleaning modifications will be made for your stay.
