Hotell nära Matsukuras slott

“An excellent Ryokan with lovely staff. We felt very well cared for. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The breakfast is spectacular. As advised by the owners, this is a very very traditional old house (it’s the whole point of the experience), so one should not expect hotel things like black out blinds, or soundproofing.”

“Family Mart just across the street. Washing machine in the room. Convenient location next to the train station and a short walk to the sights in town. I also liked the free ticket for visiting the sister hotel's baths. ”

“Excellent first time ryokan experience”

“Kind, helpful and super professional staff. Loved the experience.”

“We stayed for two nights. Overall a good experience. The staff is very kind. Food was okay, wouldn’t call it great. There’s one thing we didn’t like, the fact that there’s no real housekeeping. Our room wasn’t made at all. We only got a bag with some fresh towels. It is mentioned that rooms are cleaned every three nights but we still expected a bit more. Overall a very nice hotel.”
