“Woke up in the morning with water leaking through the ceiling, flooding my room and making it unusable. I notified the front desk person and asked for a rebate on the price I paid for the room, but they refused and offered no other useful redress. Also, the included breakfast was probably the worst I have ever seen in my life. Overall, an absolutely dismal experience. These people don't care about their guests. Avoid.”

“The hotel is beautiful. There was someone playing a grand piano when we checked in. Our room was spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had a view to distant hills. Bottled water was free and readily available. We enjoyed walking around the grounds. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good and the staff delightful. The whole experience was peaceful.”

“The staff were nice. We chose to switch to a different hotel after we checked in. Our room had stains on the floor, furniture, and walls. The bathroom was untouchable and unsanitary. The gap between the wall and air conditioning unit was huge.”

“Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...

“This was a mom & kids trip to explore mystic. We had a fabulous time! The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the aquarium & the old mystic village. If you’re traveling without kids & want to stay in a more beachy part of town I’d recommend staying over the drawbridge area. Either way this hotel was very kid friendly, the pool area is nice & not like most hotels. I’d definitely come back.”
