“Got an allergic reaction when entering the room. After we said we would have to leave they gave us another room. They should have done when I first told then about the moldy smell.”

“It was a great place to stay the weekend. Its close to a lot of restaurants and the boardwalk. It is also across the bus shuttle which can be very convenient.”

“The property was clean and the staff polite and helpful. The breakfast included with your stay was surprisingly good. The carpet in the hallway on the 4 th floor where we stayed was a little lumpy possibly from water damage but the rest of the property was well kept and well managed. I definitely would recommend and would stay there again.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a large selection including a pancake machine, scrambled & hard boiled eggs, a meat selection plus breads, cereals, and a yoghurt machine. I had a handicapped room and it was clean and exactly as described. Parking was good but I think would be a bit tight if the hotel was totally full. ”

“I can’t say enough about the staff at the Castle in the Sand. We had to move from another unrelated hotel in the area after a very poor experience and everyone we dealt with was so helpful. ”

“Decent place to stay”

“The room was nice, clean and well appointed. The staff was great. There were nice attractions nearby and lots to walk to. The climate control wasn’t working but the provided plug in electric room unit kept us warm when the temp dropped. The bathroom sink was made for a tall faucet but only had a short one so washing hands was a big chore. I’d definitely stay there again though”

“We liked everything about the motel. The price was good, the rooms clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly. The only downside, which kept me from giving an excellent rating was we had two rooms and they charged us for two parking spaces even though we only had one car”
