Welcome to Le Beau Pierre.
Imagine: you are sitting on the terrace, a glass of Côtes du Marmandais in your hand. The children are playing ping-pong while the sun is slowly sinking behind the oak trees. Someone is preparing the barbecue. No one is looking at the time. That's exactly why this house exists.
Le Beau Pierre is no ordinary vacation rental. It's a real family home, ours, that we have designed to offer what we are all looking for when travelling: space, calm, beauty, and that rare feeling of finally being able to settle down.

The house
Exposed stone, generous volumes, natural light. A neat decoration that combines authenticity and contemporary comfort. Books on the shelves, carefully chosen works on the walls, games in the cupboards. Here, everything has a soul.
Four bedrooms accommodate up to ten people in absolute comfort:
A master suite with double bed and private bathroom, your refuge.
A bright double bedroom.
The children's room: four beds in a playful configuration that they will remember for a long time.
The flexible room: two single beds or a king-size 180 cm depending on your needs. Tell us, we will take care of it before you arrive.
Three full bathrooms, a separate toilet. Fluffy towels, high-end products, hairdryer in each adult room. And that promise: you'll never run out of toilet paper.

Cooking
Because we really cook here, you'll find everything you need to prepare real meals, not just survive.
Gas stove, oven, generous fridge, coffee machine, sharp knives, olive oil, spices, quality pans, casserole dishes, wine glasses, corkscrew. The pantry is stocked with pasta, rice, lentils: help yourself freely.
Prepare a feast. Or just pasta with butter at 11pm after a day in the pool. Both are perfect.

Outside: 4 hectares just for you
Le Beau Pierre is set on four hectares of private land. Meadows, hundred-year-old trees, and a forest to get lost in. Go for a walk, let the children explore, or simply enjoy this luxury that has become rare: space and silence.
The swimming pool awaits you, with its deckchairs and towels. Right next to it, a summer kitchen to prepare lunch without leaving the sun. Summer afternoons here look exactly like what you imagine.
Two terraces: one bathed in light for lazy breakfasts, the other in the shade for aperitifs that go on forever. You'll choose your favourite, then change your mind.
Charcoal barbecue, the only real way to go. There's nothing like grilling outside with the smell of the countryside around you.
Private parking for 3 vehicles. High-speed wifi. Washing machine and dryer.

For families
After years of travelling with our kids, we know what's missing in most rentals. Here, everything is designed to make life with the little ones simple and joyful.
You will find: cot and high chairs on request, a toy cupboard for all ages, child-friendly crockery, pool toys, a swing, a ping-pong table, a petanque set for aperitif time, books, puzzles and board games for the evenings.
And that room with bunk beds that your children will still be talking about in ten years' time.

On arrival
A welcome basket awaits you: a bottle of our wine and a selection of products from our favourite local artisans. The corkscrew and tote bag are to take away, a souvenir of your visit.
Christine, our local concierge, welcomes you personally, shows you around, and makes sure you have everything you need to start relaxing immediately.

Where you are
Le Beau Pierre is nestled in the hillsides of the Marmandais, in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne. Vineyards as far as the eye can see, orchards, forests, and everything you need within ten minutes.
What we like here? It's not on the tourist circuit. No crowds, no queues. Just the French countryside as it really is: generous, authentic, without rushing.

What to expect in the area
The vineyards of the Côtes du Marmandais and Côtes de Duras: tastings in family estates, bottles that can't be found elsewhere.
Saint-Émilion (UNESCO) an hour away: great wines, narrow streets Medieval terraces, terraces with a view.
Local markets: Marmande on Saturday mornings, Duras on Mondays, Tonneins on Wednesdays. Cheeses, foie gras, heirloom tomatoes, Agen prunes.
The Dordogne an hour away: castles, caves, canoeing on the river.
Bordeaux at 1h30: architecture, gastronomy, strolling on the quays.
The Atlantic coast at 2h: endless beaches, surfing, oysters from the Arcachon basin.
