wonderful retreat
We were relaxed in this comfortable home. Really enjoyed the screened in porch. Felt the owners were considerate people with all the games available and all the pots, pans and all the accoutrements. We brought all our own food but were not left wanting for anything to prepare it. It really was a wonderful retreat for our family and dogs.

Memorial Day weekend
Great house with plenty of room for family or friends. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to experience the lake, but still had a great time at the house. Screened in porch was great for making the best of the rainy weather.

Fun winter long weekend
Nice house overlooking the lake with a nice sunrise view from both the master bedroom and living room. Nice space to visit with family and partake in many winter activities.

August - Lake Trip
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the lake house. However, the pictures were deceiving and it was not clear that the dock was across the street down this giant hill a few houses away.

Lovely House
Lovely house with plenty of room, towels and linens. They had everything you could want from home. The hill to the water is very steep and it is not really a beach and swimming area for children. Overall I would recommend the house.

A great week on Sacendaga
The house was neat and clean, as always. This year the living room was upgraded with a new couch and love seat. 3rd year in a row and we look forward to returning. Great house for small children.

Air Conditioning only in two bedrooms
BE WARNED! There is only air conditioning in the bedroom with the queen and the bunk bed room. All other rooms are not. We specifically booked this home due to have small children and someone with asthma staying. Air conditioning was a must for us. We were led to believe the home was air conditioned but it is in fact just two rooms. This being said, everything in the home is extremely clean and well maintained. The home is also very well stocked with necessities such as paper towels, laundry detergent etc. The woman who cleans the home lives next door and is very helpful and nice. If it wasn't for being mislead about the air conditioning, we would have very much enjoyed our stay!

Nice getaway
property was good, very well kept and clean. Listing of accommodations (air conditioning) only 2 bedrooms with air NOT whole house. Stated parking 4 different ways, should just simplify and state driveway parking enough for 5 cars

Perfect House for a Perfect Weekend!
We had a Friday night family gathering and the screened-in porch comfortably held 25+people; there was plenty of room for all. The house has everything you need for a Sacandaga weekend. The house was clean, well stocked and has a great location. The dock was easy to find.

Great little place
It was nice and clean. The grounds well kept. Good size for our family of 4, with room for more if necessary. Ventalation through the house was not the greatest, as half the windows are permanently sealed shut

We felt like this was our second home!
We really enjoyed our stay at the "Nest". We were really impressed with the fact that we didn't need to bring anything. Owners thought about everything down to the smallest details. We spent most of the time relaxing, and watching movies. We didn't make it to dock because of the weather, but did enjoy Jetskiing on the beautiful Lake Sacandaga. Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay! Nice home that was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The amenities indicate that the home has air conditioning, and it did not. I would suggest removing that from the amenities or adding more fans. It was fairly hot during our stay and we borrowed additional fans from family that live in the area.

Clean and charming!
This was great! The location, the house, the caretakers and Owners were amazing! I recommend this rental! It was large and spacious enough for 8 adults. The only drawback was the hill down to the dock.

Great vacation house
The house was clean, spacious well stocked with the bare necessities. The view was lovely, however I was not aware of the drastic slope that leads to the lake. This hill was not easy for my parents or my children. We ended up going to the Mayfield Beach, which was very nice.

very comfortable home in nice quiet neighborhood.
The house was very nice with a big yard, nice stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. The only thing that could have made it better would have been air conditioning as it didn't have any, and a little landscaping/yard clean up. Other than that very nice house with lake access down the street. I would definitely stay there again.

Charming home with all the amenities
Our visit to Mayfield was quite nice. The town is tucked away in a quiet area. The home has 3 well- appointed bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots and pans, dishes and silverware you need. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets. The owners have gone out of their way to think of everything you could need, including games to play. The front windows on the house ensure plenty of sunlight and a view of the lake across the way. Just bring your family and food, and settle in.
