Quiet retreat
This was a wonderful home in a quiet residential area of McAllen. The backyard is beautiful and offers a relaxing place to unwind. The kitchen is very well stocked. We had a great time and would recommend this property to everyone. It was a very good experience.

Spacious and convenient
This was perfect for our adult family of 5. Plenty of space with multiple seating areas. Kitchen was well equipped with cookware and there is a gas grill. House is close to restaurants and shopping.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO ENJOY AND RELAX
ENJOY IT AND HOUSE WAS BEATIFUL . SOME OF MY FAMILY COMPLAIN ABOUT SOME ROOM NOT HAVING TV'S. I WISH WEATHER COULD HAVE BEEN LOTS BETTER TO ENJOY THE POOL.

Perfect winter holiday
We came for the warm temperatures and sunshine but got so much moor. A beautiful home with lots of space and a surer great pool with warm spa. We had such a good time celebrating our great grandson’s 5th birthday. Thank you!!

Beautiful home- wonderful stay!
My parents and I plus two aunts and an uncle all stayed while visiting TX for my nephew’s wedding. We had a great time. Property is as described and Maria was a great host. We had everything we needed for meals out by the beautiful pool. I took a walk every morning. The neighborhood is very nice. I would look to stay here again when my niece graduates.

Excellent Property!
My sister, her two adult sons, and I had the pleasure of staying at this retreat of a house recently. The rooms are spacious, neighborhood perfect, and the cherry on top is the pool. (Pool towels are available along with specific instructions on operating the pool and hot tub.) I’m not sure there is a thing I would change about the property and look forward to staying there again.

Wonderful home and neighborhood
This home was accurately portrayed and the pool was amazing! Quiet neighborhood, in a great location! We enjoyed taking evening walks around the area. The owners were lightning fast to respond when I had an issue with the door code not working initially. Beds were comfortable as well! We enjoyed our stay very much! Plan to stay again!

Perfect space and close to birding locations
This lovely home in a quiet McAllen neighborhood was a delightful respite for our group of friends who came to the area for birdwatching. It's close to a number of excellent birding hotspots, with easy access to restaurants and shopping, too. The house was clean and comfy and we made ample use of the pool and hot tub afer hot days of hiking and birding. The kitchen is roomy and stocked with basics and the outdoor covered patio is a great place to relax. Maria was very responsive when we had questions.

Fantastic house!

A Superb Stay
This is a superb place on a nice quite street. It will not disappoint and is well represented in its pictures. It is one the best appointed places in which I have stayed, having most all the little things you could need. I will stay here again if I am ever back this way.

Wonderful stay for family gathering
We rented this property for 4 families to gather with our parents who live in the area. The house was clean, well stocked, and the owners have anticipated many needs that made our stay easy and enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were lovely and easy to use. The dining space was perfect for nightly family meals. I would certainly return again and recommend to others.

McAllen Family Visit
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! It was in such a great location and provided everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very responsive to any questions and great hosts. The house is equipped with anything you can think of that you might need especially the kitchen! The outside pool area is beautifully landscaped and a great relaxing place to gather. The pool is fabulous and well maintained....a definite hit with our young family members. This was the perfect sized house with its open layout, the four bedrooms, spacious living and family rooms and fully equipped kitchen. Thanks for providing a comfortable home base for our visist and we will hopefully be back again!

We had a great time!
The property was beautiful and my family was very happy with it. My sister's wedding pictures will come out beautiful because the interior of the house was so clean and elegant. The amenities in the kitchens and bathroom were great. I'd say the only issues we had were the thermostat giving us problems the last few nights. The main areas were cool and fresh and the rooms were too the first few nights, but for some reason the rooms were very warm the last couple of nights. The owner's tried to fix that from the nest thermostat. Parking was an issue, but mostly because of the neighbors not wanting any more than 2 cars parked in front of the house - but there is additional parking in the back. Overall the house was great and my family really enjoyed it.

Birthday weekend with the family!!
Second summer in a row we have stayed here and hopefully many more summers!! This home is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The pool is a great size and we were able to play volleyball in it. Overall great weekend!!

Family fun in the city center
The house was welcoming and well equipped for all our family needs. We visit Mcallen to see family and this house is centrally located with great facilities like a shaded pool area and large dining room that allowed us to host family gatherings. The surrounding neighborhoods are also nice and quiet with shade trees and sidewalks and which made them perfect for evening/morning strolls. We have stayed at several houses in McAllen and this is by far the best and we plan on staying here each time we visit.

10/10 I’d recommend! With family in town, we will be back and will absolutely book here again. The house was in a wonderful neighborhood and even more gorgeous than the pictures, so much space and so clean! Fully stocked kitchen was a hit when our local family came by to make us dinner. There were so many extras around the house that set Maria and Bill’s home apart from other homes I’ve stayed in. Shampoo/conditioner and soap in the bathrooms, laundry detergent to wash clothes, a very helpful welcome book with tips about the home and area, and little notes around the house detailing light switches, where to find plug-ins, etc. We had no issues at all in our stay. I spoke with the hosts once when the pool got a bit full due to the days of rain, no issues but wanted to make sure they knew and they were so quick to respond and so kind, the pool service came shortly after to attend to it. Check in/out was a breeze!

PERFECT!
We absolutely loved the place. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, the house was very spacious and beautiful. Had room for everyone. We enjoyed the kitchen so much that we only had takeout once! The pool temperature was always perfect, even with all the shade, which started after 3pm. So many toys for the kids to play with in the pool and we had a great volleyball game in it as well. Would definitely recommend! We had such a great time that we were sad to leave, and we would love to rent again in the future.

Perfect for at-home entertaining
We reserved this property when we came to McAllen for a family reunion. The home is lovely and is in a nice, quiet neighborhood at the end of a street. The layout of the home is fantastic. There is a wonderful Master suite and all the beds are very comfortable. We had some trouble with the hot tub, but Maria was quick to respond to the issues we had. The outdoor space is ideal for a family gathering.

Lovely house, clean, updated, and well-appointed. We enjoyed our week at this house. The pool was great and the house had all amenities we could think of (except perhaps a few more hand/dish towels in the kitchen, but we just went out and bought a couple!). The location is very convenient and peacefully quiet. Communication with Maria was prompt and friendly. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
