Beautifully decorated but disappointing stay

Overall the place was nice. It was very nicely decorated for the season. The attention to detail with regards to the theme was outstanding. We did however encounter several issues within the property that were not appreciated and if I had known of these issues I would have booked elsewhere. Firstly, I contacted the property ahead of time to ensure certain features would be available such as hot tub and grill. The hot tub was functional but the grill was not. I was told to buy a propane tank which I did. Upon inspection of said grill, there was ALREADY a propane tank however the grill's pilot did not light. It was inoperable and the tank itself was $80 which clearly was a waste. When I contacted the property regarding this issue they were not helpful at all. Another very big issue was that the full bathroom on the main level was inoperable as well. This is a huge problem as you might suspect. Not everyone on the trip knew each other and we were expecting 3 full bathrooms and was only able to use 2 of them. Again when I contacted the host, they were not helpful and provided no resolution to our issues. In addition to these very problematic issues, the fireplace on the main level also was inoperable. It really was frustrating that every single day of the trip we found a different issue which brought our rating down significantly. It was most frustrating that the hosts did not attempt to rectify any of these issues or address them at all. Check out is way too early also. Bad time

Best house ever

This house is just beautiful and in a very quiet location surrounded by trees. Our family of our children and grandchildren had plenty of room to spread out for quiet time, but also had a lovely open concept kitchen and living area for games and spending time just being together. The location is such that it is secluded and yet we were only about .2 miles from Perkins pancakes and a grocery store. There was also a Fun Zone that the grandkids enjoyed nearby. Everyone in our family agreed that this was the best house we have rented for our family vacations! Thank you for sharing your comfortable home, We left with some fantastic memories for all!

Property had wonderful amenities as we enjoyed pool table , hot tub and wrap around decks…kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils….good heat and water pressure for showers. Our main complaint was cleanliness as the first casserole dish, wine glass and soup bowl I pulled out of cupboard were all dirty. Also, it was unusually cold with a snow dusting and the fireplace in living room did not work…it took two days for anyone to even come to look at it and discover it needed a part to he ordered….the fireplace would have added a lot to ambiance.

This is our second time booking this property and it didn’t disappoint

The property was equipped with all the essentials and then some . Located in a small wooded neighborhood and close proximity to all that Deep Creek Offers. We even got to see a momma bear and her cub up close wandering through the neighborhood! We had a wonderful week with our grown children and two grandsons! Looking forward to the next trip!!

Enjoyable stay

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The house had everything we needed. We had an issue with the air conditioning when we first arrived, but we communicated with the management company and it was resolved the next morning. However, the issue left the bedroom in the basement unusable, so we had to rearrange our sleeping arrangements. Fortunately, there was enough space to do this. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Great Cabin in a Great Location

My husband and I stayed at the property for a long weekend. The cabin is very clean and spacious. My particular favorite are the large floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a great view. The location is a great place to stay if you want to explore surrounding parks. We are hikers, and we were very pleased that there are many hiking options within a short driving distance of the cabin (many of which also offer cross country skiing in the winter.) Stores that you might want/need are all close by such as grocery, coffee, beer/wine, etc. The location is also great for exploring surrounding areas such as Oakland. The property management company was very responsive to minor questions/needs we had. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Wonderful Place

We are very pleased with our stay here. The house was very clean, cozy, and spacious. We loved the deck, nice place to hang out with friends. The yard space and privacy was great to play cornhole and jenga. Great firepit with the hot tub nearby. Overall, just a great place.

Deep Creek Lake

The house was very nice and clean. I didn’t like the noise the bed frame in the master bedroom. It was very noisy anytime we rolled over. The knives, pots and pans are older and rusty. We had to buy our own pans and knives to cook. There should also be a sign on the refrigerator not to load everything at once. We had to take everything out and wait 6-7 hours for the refrigerator to get cold.

Wonderful weekend getaway

The house was clean and just as described. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed, the grill right off the back door was a nice convenience. Had plenty of room for our 3 families and the extra amenities such as provided hand soap was such a plus!! We particularly loved the hot tub located right next to the fire pit. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great place for a get away!

This place was perfect for me and my friends to escape work and relax. The pool table, yard, and hot tub were more than enough. Each room was nice and cozy and we were able to enjoy a nice relaxing weekend. I would have stayed longer if I could.
