âsmaller hotel, which I liked, convenient location for our trip to St. James island and folly beach area, stayed 2 nights, the place was great. safe, and clean with good staff. Nice water view with boats and a few under building parking spaces out of the weather. Go ahead and book it you will enjoy. â

Got a fan from front desk but it was still warm in the room at night and even with curtains closed unbearable in daytime for naps or getting dressed etc

âWe loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is âfreeâ offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. âWe booked our room last minute for a one night stopover from wintering in Florida. What a great room which actually was a well fitted 1 bedroom apt. So clean. Such nice amenities. âHarborView Inn is a small hotel with the best of hospitality and services. Must mention the wine tasting every day! And smack in the middle of the vibrating atmosphere in the Historical district of Charleston. A perfect stay!â
