Weekend Stay

We come to McQueeney about twice a year to see friends. It's nice to be able to stay in a nice house in a nice neighbor close by insead of having to stay in New Braunfels.

Last Minute Family Get a Way

This home was very clean and spacious. The backyard is large and our dog enjoyed it. Tammy and her husband were great hosts. The location of their home was perfect for all we wanted to do. We look forward to staying at their property when we visit the area again.

Cozy Stay

The home was in a safe and quiet location. It felt cozy as if we went to visit one of our grandmothers. We travel with our dog so she absolutely loved the backyard! Spacious home that allowed us to take space from one another if we needed.

Nice property at that price point. Thanks for the early checkin as we were traveling for a funeral. However, the internet was so painfully slow that nobody could access their apps. 26 mbps is not enough bandwidth for 5 people and a tv.

Loved staying in this McQueeny home. Lots of room. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Loved being able to bring the fur children and they Loved the big fenced in backyard! Only recommendation is a larger TV.

Lovely location; two major complaints

Great location (quiet, lovely neighborhood), very spacious house/yard, lots of amenities and supplies in bedrooms and kitchen. Wonderful concept for families. We did encounter SUBSTANTIAL pet hair all over our sheets and the master as a whole, which negatively impacted my husband’s sinuses. That alone, unfortunately, makes us hesitant to return. We were also very disappointed to be interrupted during what we considered to be a private stay by the owners knocking on the door and wanting to get their car out of the garage! Very unprofessional. If those two issues could be addressed (ensuring the pet hair is gone and the privacy of guests is respected), this place would be a lot more pleasant.

Dated ranch

This ranch style property needs an update.... very tired furnishings and deco. Television in the living room was only size of a computer screen... too small for the size of the room. No bathroom amenities (toiletries) were provided. Primary bathroom's towel hardware was not properly attached to the sheetrock with Molly screws and kept coming out of the wall. Primary bedroom's mattress was not covered with a mattress pad just a sheet. AC unit did not uniformly keep the home cool.. kitchen was always much colder that the bedrooms. Rug in the kitchen was a trip hazard. The washer and dryer needs to be updated very old, old style. Outside light fixture near front door needs to have stronger lighting. We would have left a message to the homeowner about our concerns but there was not any paper or a pen for any communication. Generally speaking, the house is very basic and would benefit from a facelift.
