Mayor Lord's is a lovely property. The carriage house is spacious and lovingly decorated. However, with an absent host by design it is a rather cold place. I understand the concerns surrounding Covid, and the desire for a contactless B&B, but it makes a sterile atmosphere. The $10 voucher is an attempt at breakfast. The over riding charm of a B&B is the interaction among the guests and the host. All that being said I would like to stay there in 2025 when my grandson graduates.

Excellent stay! Very clean, comfortable. Access to the kitchen equipment was a pleasant bonus. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Sherry, the owner, host and housekeeper was very friendly and helpful if needed anything.

We stayed at Mayor Lord's for a parents' weekend at Allegheny College and it was perfect. We walked to campus to see our student and enjoyed the community breakfasts. The setting was quiet, scenic and easy to find.

Beautiful Carriage House!
We stayed in Clare's Room in the carriage house, and it was fantastic! The room is gorgeous and spacious, and the shared spaces (kitchen, dining, sitting areas) are also beautiful and comfortable. The manager was always available and friendly and helpful, and we had everything we needed. We loved spending the weekend here, and we'll be back.

Labor Day weekend 2023
I have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it very much. I tried a new room this time: the Garden Studio apartment. Very spacious rooms, nice bathroom, kitchen area had everything I needed for a 4 day stay. The only item that was unexpected was the noise generated from the apartment above the Garden Studio. Fortunately it wasn't often and didn't last long but it did happen very early one morning.

Family visit
We were in town for a family reunion. This place was very convenient for our needs. The room was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough good things about the Mayor Lord.

This is a very beautiful place. The house has been wonderfully restored. The bedroom was huge with a good size bathroom and walk-in closet. Surrounded by a stockade fence, the property is very private despite being in the middle of town and encompasses at least an acre of beautiful landscaping and a pool.

Beautiful property right in the center of Meadville. When we were at the carriage house, it seemed like we were not in the center of the city. Incredible building with lots of history and beautifully remodeled.

A unique property with a lot of history. Very quiet and and secluded. So much better than a box chain hotel. Wish I had more time to explore the 3 acre property.

It was a beautiful home. Very clean. She all ready knows we would of preferred downstairs and just a shower. The room we were to have was needing maintenance. From our last B&B experience out of State, this seemed very impersonal. Due to there COVID rules. ? We communicated by text and phone. No food there, had to leave and go to the two places they had accounts with for breakfast. We went to each of those, very nice. We did not meet any other people staying at the B&B. A front rail on the steps would be an added plus. Coming in with luggage . The location was convenient to where we needed to be. We would stay again . Thank you

Nice B&B at a reasonable price
Clean and comfortable. No on-site breakfast during the pandemic. Within walking distance to restaurants for dinner, but not for one of the two breakfast places.

Loved this b&b! We stayed in the carriage house. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Had a large in room private bathroom. Communication was excellent! Self check-in. No on site breakfast was available, but there were arrangements with two community shops for free breakfast. Keurig coffee/tea and water available 24 hours at the b&b. The grounds were beautiful for strolling and outdoor visits/meals. There was also a pristine outdoor swimming pool, but we did not have time to enjoy it. Very safe neighborhood. Highly recommend this b&b. We plan to stay there again when we are in the Meadville area.

Clare's Room was unique. I loved the wooden beams and flooring. The bathroom was huge, warm, and had a marvelous jacuzzi tub. The view was of the flowers and pool area. I wish we'd had time to swim. Breakfast was not provided on site although coffee was available 24/7. We were given several good places to go to breakfast. We had a $10.00/person "allowance" at whichever place we chose. Suggestions were all good. The Innkeeper couldn't have been nicer.
