Do not recommend!

I would not recommend renting this property based on our experience.We booked this rental on Sunday, with check-in scheduled for the following day. Just 3.5 hours after making the reservation, my husband was involved in an accident and ended up needing medical attention. I reached out immediately to explain the situation and kindly asked if they would consider a refund or exception given the circumstances.We provided hospital documentation as requested and did everything we could to verify what had happened. Unfortunately, we were essentially told that “policy is policy.” What was especially disappointing was that we had booked the property only one day before check-in and contacted them within hours of making the reservation. To my knowledge, the property was not rented to someone else for those dates, yet there was no willingness to make even a reasonable exception or work with us.I completely understand having cancellation policies, but there are times when compassion and common sense should come into play. We were already dealing with an unexpected and incredibly difficult situation, and losing $1,500 on top of that was devastating.We met their requests, provided the hospital documentation, and reached out immediately, only to be told essentially, “Oh well.” I truly hope they never have to experience the kind of hardship we were dealing with and then be met with that same lack of empathy.Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling taken advantage of, and I would not recommend this rental to others.

This property was very clean. I loved that the flowers were so beautifully flourishing. The porches and firepit were so nice that you felt invited to sit and stay awhile. We enjoyed the gas grill as well as the washer and dryer, nice shower with hot water, comfortable clean beds and a great a/c. It has a view of the dunes and the beach. This place is located right on the main street so everything was close and yet it is spacious enough to feel out of the way. We really enjoyed our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here on future visits.

There was some confusion with the cleaners thinking we were supposed to leave a day earlier but they were very nice about it and we got it figured out that they were at the wrong address. The place is nice and comfortable. We didn’t realize there was no dishwasher so you have to wash dishes by hand. No big deal but there should be a dish drainer available. There also was no bath mat. Just two suggestions to maybe add these. The deck and fire pit were great to sit outside and the location is perfect!!
