The town of Kallmuth, also known as “Hengasch” from the TV series “Mord mit Aussicht,” offers a wealth of experiences. It’s the ideal starting point for great hikes for everyone on the Eifelspuren and Eifelschleifen trails.

All hikes are very well marked. You can start right outside your front door—for example, on the 2024 Hike of the Year, “As Far as the Eye Can See.” Or take a trip back in time on the “Roman Canal Trail” and discover the route along which water was transported from the Eifel to Cologne. Or perhaps you’d prefer to go mountain biking? The Eifel offers 500 km of well-marked mountain bike trails (Eifel Free Ride).

Maybe you’d just like to head into the historic old town of Bad Münstereifel (Outlet) for some shopping. Or visit the Kommern Open-Air Museum? There are plenty of options, and you certainly won’t get bored.

Visit the former Nazi Ordensburg Vogelsang, or take a leisurely stroll along Lake Rur and go on a boat tour. There’s a summer toboggan run and the wildlife reserve nearby.

Train service in Mechernich (approx. 7 km) or Scheven station (approx. 2.5 km). Kall is approx. 3 km away. The A1 highway is about a 10-minute drive away. It’s about 17 km to Euskirchen.
Bad Münstereifel is about 12 km away.
You’ll find plenty of shopping options about 2 minutes away by car.

The vacation rental consists of a living/dining area and a kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave, and is fully stocked with all the essentials for daily life. You’ll have access to a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed. You can relax and unwind in the private garden.

The vacation rental is ideal for 2 people. Overnight rates include bed linens, towels, and final cleaning.

Your dog is welcome here (max. 1 dog up to approx. 25 kg); please let us know about your four-legged friend when booking. There is a charge of €5.00 per day.
