“We enjoyed 4 nights in Asheville at the Restoration Hotel, located right downtown. The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Our room with a balcony was lovely for enjoying morning coffee and a treat from the continental breakfast picnic basket we found outside our room each day. “I would consider this to be a minimalist hotel style. Austerity is the key word. The king bed was the hardest I have ever slept on. The view from our hotel was exceptional. Paying $4 for a cafe americano that was tepid with no refill is ridiculous. It took 45 minutes to get served, and 45 minutes to finally get the attention of the waiter to pay the bill. “It was very clean even though there were many dogs at the hotel. Staff was very nice. The cost for parking with the hotel is very high and this area is very noisy at night if you are trying to go to bed early. We just parked at the Wall Street garage.”
